I’m showing some of the work which I think really impacted me the most and some recordings you may be interested in seeking out… 1. Nunu … a collaboration with insects! Beautiful. 2. Mira Calix -3 commissions… excerpts from a 30 minute piece. Featuring violins, cellos and clarinets. Just lovely! 3. Mira Calix- the elephant in the room: 3 commissions … voice, cellos, just lots of strings! 4. cliffordandcalix -found lostlings remix ep… featuring remixes by Andrea Parker, Daz Quayle, Majestic 12, Luke Vibert and more. 5. Mira Calix -Our Time…a soundtrack for an exhibition from 2019, that is super tasty with an etched side b. 6. Mira Calix -eyes set against the sun … a 2006 recording featuring violin, Woodbridge School Jr Choir, Britten-Pears Orchestra and Streetwise Opera 7. cliffordandcalix -lost foundling 1999-2004 … a beautiful collaboration with Mark Clifford of Seefeel. Music recorded over a long period of time. Released by Andrea Parker on her Aperture label. This is a great collection of tracks. I left the more popular Warp recordings off of this post. You can find the really popular work. Seek these out. I tried to use lowercase as much as possible. Autocorrect got the best me.
