On This Day In History
June 7th, 1909: American physician Virginia Apgar was born.
She developed the Apgar score, which remains the major assessment of newborn health. Her work as a doctor, researcher, and medical advocate makes her perhaps the single biggest contributor to reducing infant mortality and birth defects in human history.

A Gray Reflection
A still day with relatively warm winter temperatures made Lake McDonald especially peaceful today. The lake is free of ice as we have yet to see extended periods of below freezing temperatures. But, weather can change quickly in Glacier so be prepared for all conditions.
