IT Aphverse AU
i decided to cook up an IT based aphverse au and now it’s all i can think about
the plot is pretty similar to the 2017 movie (with some alterations) and is centred around katelyn along with the rest of the losers club trying to find her missing brother,, kacey,, which eventually leads them to banding together to destroy pennywise.
the cast consists of: katelyn,, dante,, garroth and laurance as the original members of the losers club and then aphmau,, travis and aaron join the group later on.
so we have the original four consisting of katelyn,, garroth,, laurance and dante. they haphazardly become friends mainly because katelyn and garroth had known each other since diapers so when laurance and dante befriended garroth,, katelyn was already there. she’s enough of a tomboy that the boys consider her ‘one of the guys’ so she’s quickly accepted by dante and laurance.
the rest of the group forms shortly after the search for kacey starts. whilst investigating,, they find a travis who has just been beat the fuck up by gene’s gang and they immediately head to the pharmacy to patch him up. aphmau stumbles upon them taking care of travis (who she is already good acquaintances with) and she helps garroth bandage his wounds. a couple of days later katelyn bumps into aph again and invites her to tag along with the rest of the group to go to the quarry the next day and aph happily accepts. the next day,, on her way to the quarry,, aphmau spots aaron being chased by gene and his friends and quickly realises he’s in danger. once she catches up with him,, she guides him near the quarry where the rest of the main group are and they come to his rescue,, pelting gene’s gang with rocks.
as an important side note the aphverse characters do not replace the IT cast i.e. no aphverse character represents a specific member of the losers club. i do have a general idea on who matches with who and that does influence the plot of this au but it’s not a complete 1:1. i basically added and removed shit so it would fit more with the aphverse group.
anyways hopefully that all made sense ! this au is still in early stages but i wanted to share some basic facts. if you have any questions feel free to ask :)
