When an important figure turns up dead in the cult, what do you do? Obviously, you hunt down the closest relative and force them to take their place, as it's their duty to take up their now (probably) dead relative's place! Besides, good, loyal blood is always a keeper!

Examples of this that show up in the Rewrite would be Kacey taking Katelyn's place and the so-called son of Zane, Rachelle Ro'meave, doing the same. Rachelle seeks to further this once he becomes leader by seeking out Abby. Lowkey, he might have an obsession that parallels Zane's of Aphmau.

Day 27: AU or OC

Oh boy, a chance to revisit my first and only (not counting Barret and Puffin) mcd oc! Meet Melody!

She was originally created as an adopted daughter for Garrance back when I was middle school. She was Abby’s daughter, but she was killed off in the story so the boys took her in. Also she had telekinesis or something like that.

I revisited her as part of an event on the Aphmau amino several years ago, where I removed her powers and connections to Garrance and just let her be Abby’s kid with Fenrir as her father. I liked the conflict arising between Fenrir’s vengeance arc and how he has to let that go to be with Abby and Melody.

This time was more of a strict redesign, her story is pretty much the same. But with Abby getting a redesign since I made her the daughter of Teony and Jeffory (lavender), and the prominent birthmark being incorporated into Aphs design instead, I wanted to shake things up.

I decided to make her and Fenrir albino; I thought it was a fun way to keep her original blonde hair, and it also solved some problems in Fenrir’s story for me. I know it doesn’t make perfect genetic sense unless Abby is a carrier, but I’m willing to handwave that with fantasy logic.

She obviously takes after her mother a bit more, but has her dads eyes and shares his unique all-white wolf form. I liked making her absolutely swallowed by fluff. And also her second dress was already cute, so I didn’t change that much.

Observations of the usual customers.

Jeffory and Abby: The two enjoy going to the diner for dinner, it's cheap and they enjoy the food, Abby sometimes saves money to play one of the two arcade machines in the corner of the dinner. The two always sit at the same table, they both like it for different reasons, Abby likes it cuz it's right next to the window and Jeffory likes it cuz he can see into the kitchen. Abby's favorite waiter is Garroth because he slips her 2 coloring sheets instead of 1 like he's supposed to.

Vylad: pretty simple, the foods cheap and his older brother works here. for the most part, he keeps to himself with one exception, sometimes when he's in the mood he'll go to the arcade machines and completely destroy Zenix and Sasha's high scores.

Katelyn: Like Vylad, Katelyn mostly started coming to the diner because Aphmau works here and the two are roommates, unlike the other customers Kayelyn only comes to the diner sometimes, not cuz she doesn't like the diner, its mostly cuz she's drained after work, also her ex comes to the diner often, the two aren't on bad terms it's just a little awkward.

Sasha and Zenix: The two often go to the diner after school and play the arcade machines, Zenix more so plays the arcade machines while Sasha uses the free wifi but she does join Zenix sometimes. the two sometimes order food but just small things, Zenix gets PB and J while Sasha just gets a milkshake. there used to be three people in their group but he graduated and got a job, Sasha and Zenix barely get to see him anymore.

You know, so little is known about Abby's mom, I don't think they ever even give a name.

i don't think they say whether Jeffory and her were married or dating when Abby was born.

we don't know if she passed when Abby was born or sometime later.(at least I don't think they mention it)

if i ever write stuff for Jeffory and Abby, I feel these are things that would come up, and I don't really know what to do for it.
