Is the vampire a natural born or are they sired?

Hello! Vampires are both naturally born, or sired by purebloods. However, Pureblood vampires (bloodlines that have never mingled with human blood) are not allowed at the academy, and they tend not to accept education at such institutes in the first place. Most of the vampires in school are natural born, but come from families whose bloodlines have since been watered down by humans. 

Sired vampires, if they were able to control their bloodlust and become what we call a level C, are rarely found (due to the increasingly fewer pureblood families left). The occasional one or two that turned up in the academy are sponsored by their masters - the one who sired them, but those occurrences are very, very rare.

Can SYLPH also have the power of foresight?

hello there, anon!  when it comes to the sylph, unfortunately we’ll have to say no -- since they’re gifted with a stronger power of flight and use that to their advantage, it would give them too much power to also allow a foresight gift.  it’s just about checks and balances between our races -- hopefully you understand ;u; ♥

[Hello! What is the difference of teaching a subject as main or sub? I've searched through the whole blog but can't seem to find it, sorry ;;]

Hello dear, the main subject is the one subject that the teaching faculty will focus on and mainly teach. All teaching staff must have one main subject, and could pick up a sub subject should they choose to teach in more then one department. You can also take a look at this for more information on teaching faculty.^^

In short, if you do opt to pick up a sub subject, you will be expected to teach at least 2 classes of the subject a week, but around 10 classes of the main course a week. Subs are also completely optional, and those who pick to teach only one course would be viewed as their main subject. Hope that explains things better! ; u  ;

Is it possible, to move something existing with your hanja, if you have an affinity to the element, or does it have to be made from nothing?

Hit there, yes, it is - as mentioned before, not all Hanja allows one to actually conjure a common weapon. It really depends on how you interpret your Hanja actually! ; u ; As long as you can come up with some form of connection between your Hanja and your ability (for example, to create water orbs or a light-shield, or grow trees etc), it’s all fine.

[For the runes assignment, would it also be possible to write about it, if a professor had it as subject when they were students, as a flash back for example?]

Hello dear, yes, you may - however, please do note that only ‘students studying runes and faculty members in the rune department’ will be able to claim points for this assignment. This means (1) any faculty can write about the subject in flashback, or use the assignment as a prompt for character development, but (2) only professors/TA who are teaching Runes either as a main or a sub course will be able to claim the 5P. 

I highly recommend teaching faculty to complete the prompt in a teaching point of view, but the options are opened for you guys.^^

On top of the question from the anon about recognizing the same race, can another race recognize if someone is human?

it’s not hard to recognize a human considering they’re not wearing any glamour and they don’t have characteristics of a supernatural race. c: while they are gifted, they’re fairly normal and in abundance at snag so you actually see more humans than any of the other supernatural races.

can a race recognize its own race? like two elfs have never met before but they can recognize each other as their own kind? can all race do that?

hello, anon. uwu ♥ when it comes to this, keep in mind that most of our races are using glamour to hide themselves -- it’s part of the school rules that they have to appear more human to blend in with the majority of the classroom setting after all! however, because glamour is made for creatures like fae especially, it’s easier for those of a supernatural race to see through it.  it’s only meant to trick humans after all, so yes, in a way they’d be able to recognize the traits of their own race. c: hope that was helpful to you!

I don't get the hanja seal part, a little help here pls ;;

the hanja seal is a tattoo engraved on your muse’s skin (the location is entirely up to you), and it is directly related to what you fill out in the “hanja seal” part of your application. that word should be what your muse thinks is absolutely necessary for survival, and the seal will affect how they manipulate magic and their weapon of choice. it acts as a way to channel power and multiply it so your muse can achieve much greater feats (within reason, of course). how the character reads and connects to it is also on you.
