The hard sound of foot falls echoed through the cement chamber, barley any day light breaking through the small bared off windows along the top of the prison. A cruel smirk curled the foot falls owners lips as he stopped outside the cell of their most valuable prisoner. Watching in curiosity as the man slumped against the wall he was chained to, loving the cuts from whips that decorated his pale body, the dried blood that clung to the skin. "Are you ready to tell us what we want to know?" he questioned the man, folding his hands together behind his back as if this was a formal business meeting.

Amelie sat at the edge of the hill, mulling over random thoughts as she stared at the stars. She pulled her coat tighter around herself to shield her skin from the icy breeze that blew gently, but coldly over her.

Amelie strolled up to Ludwig's house and gently knocked on the door. As she stood waiting, she bounced a little on the balls of her feet. It was the first time she had spent Christmas with Gilbert and Ludwig and she could barely contain her excitement.
