@aphrodi
After the homecoming dance, Ava hadn't left her room. Like, at all. With the exception of the one trip for food, she'd been hiding under the covers of her bed.
God, she was so embarrassed. She was so lucky that her demon hadn't pulled anything too ridiculous- the worst thing she did was probably deflating the damn slide. She'd hurled some insults, too, but luckily she'd managed to excuse herself from the public before shit truly hit the fan.
But, unfortunately, one can only avoid obligations for so long. So, here she was, trudging through the halls with a look upon her face like she'd just climbed out of a trashcan. God, she'd gotten drunk, too- that wasn't what she'd wanted to do, but things just happened and...
She paused as she noticed a figure loitering by the windows- someone she recognized. After a moment's thought, the mysterious person's identity came to her: it was Aphrodi, her ex-kouhai, back when the school had a mentorship thing going. Maybe it wouldn't be too bad of an idea to say hi.
"Hey, Aphrodi! Long time no see. How're you doing?" that was an acceptable greeting, right? Right.
