Continuing on APIA Month, Richard Aoki—Berkeley native activist of Third World Liberation Front, early Asian American Movement, and even help founded Black Panther Party. Despite false legislation of him as being an FBI informant, he was an iconic figure in the community…intersecting between Asian American movement and Black Power movement. I leave you with this quote of his, “Capitalism is like a piece of shit. You can shape it into a ball or you can shape it into a square, but at the end of the day, it’s still a piece of shit.”
