Apocalypse Countdown
1 day until the Winchesters or the Doctor save us.
OFFICIAL APOCALYPSE COUNTDOWN: 2 minutes
All premise of civilization has faded from our minds. The very earth shakes every few minutes, destroying what shells of buildings remained standing. The animal-people now surround me, and I have pinpointed them as the source of the howling. They are not merely people driven mad by grief and resorting to a more primitive nature, the Very apocalypse turns them with it's curse. More and more are succumbing. I can feel the change beginning to take root within myself. Unbearable pain is shooting through my body as I feel my fingers elongate and my nose heighten it's sense.
I can't help but reflect upon the irony, while we prepared for the Zombie apocalypse, the true threat was werewolves.
OFFICIAL APOCALYPSE COUNTDOWN: 9 minutes
The trees began falling spontaneously, so I was forced to relocate. I tried to climb the mountain but the rocks began to roll when I came near. They picked up speed and size as I ran, like giant snowballs following me down the hill. I barely escaped with me life. Had I not run across Batman street, I would be crushed by now. Batman is truly the saviour I deserve. I found my way to civic, where society had dissolved. Looters abound as children scream for their parents and adults for their lovers. People crawl on their hands and knees, rooting through rubble, as if they are no longer fully human. Many families have already been torn asunder by the violence and devastation of the apocalypse. Not long ago the fire balls began to rain. I post from the last echelon of society which remains: Mcdonalds. Utilising their free wifi, I watch through the window as the world ends. I have not yet discovered what has caused the howling, but it is still nearing me and enhancing in size. I hope that when the end truly comes at midnight, is shall be brief.
OFFICIAL APOCALYPSE COUNTDOWN: 17 minutes
I am now hidden in the tree outside of my house. I have tapped into my emergency oxygen supply, prepared for exactly this moment. The howling has grown louder, nearer. It is now also joined by scratching and a strange barking, not quite human, not quite canine. Whatever is producing these sounds have grown in numbers. As the pack travels closer, it recruits. The city now burns before my eyes. From my perch atop this tree I see all. I watch my city turn to ashes, and et, the sound have not slowed. The fire seems not to worry them, nor the acid rain pouring from above deter them. Now I can only prey they cannot climb.
OFFICIAL APOCALYPSE COUNTDOWN: 21 minutes
The air is thickening. I type this from the ground as I try to breathe the cleanest air I can, that from under the lounge. I hear mysterious howls in the distance. Are these the zombies I so often hear about? Have they taken to howling? Or perhaps it is the howling of a menacing winds. All I know is that the end is nigh.
OFFICIAL APOCALYPSE COUNTDOWN: 25 minutes
Seeing red skies in the distance. The heavy scent of smoke lingers in the air. The clouds are no longer innocent and full of moisture, but dry, heavy, and acidic. The stars are disappearing from view one by one. Temperatures have risen to borderline fatal. My skin is beginning to shrivel and my computer keys are melting... but thats probably because I'm blocking the fans.

Starting to feel warm... good sign? Bad sign?
