i don't know abt these vibes but i will tell you that the lotr cast would have been better had it been women. where is the lady boromir i need. he can still use he/him pronouns, but god damn.

also i would have loved to imagine sam in her dress going and kicking orc ass to save frodo. that is all.

I’m afraid my brain doesn’t like genderbends, I can never get behind them. It would also mean changing too much Gondorian cultural and social norms which also throws my head right off. If Boromir were a woman, trans or not, that would present a whole new mental space for him and a very different course of his life etc And so immediately I’m like aH a stranger!! This is a stranger to me!! 

I also have no interest in being attracted to Boromir, the depths of my affection for him are entirely platonic and I like it that way. If Boromir became a he/him butch woman I would just have far too much going on in my funky little lesbian brain to cope with, I already barely hold on just identifying with him. 

That being said, the idea of Sam just liking wearing dresses in his day to day is a very good concept and I’m thoroughly for it :)

Idea for a story

I’d love to see a WW show staring her where she decides to go find her dad to kick his ass and figure out her powers, and she then gets to learn all about the amazons and their mythos. also she gets to wear leather jackets in this and listen to classic rock

Unpopular opinion

I miss when she was far more tomboy-ish. I think making her feminine and more girl-next-door and making her hair longer was a mistake. It also makes her look too much like Kara or Gwen Stacy. I think her design and everything was way more unique when she was allowed to be weirder and more masculine.

Favorite relationship

core four <3 her friendship with bart, conner, and tim are fun. also i wish we got to see more of her and kiran before the reboot!!!!!

Favorite headcanon

the classic rock bit where shes a nerd for that and collects records, but also she totally is the type of person who wore convers whenever they had to wear a dress for special events and wore combat boots to school and cut her own bangs

Once again, Reader is often snubbed in favour of Sam rushing over to the Baggins household and hearing stuff about elves. This still makes him very enjoyable to talk too since he always has a new story or poem to tell Reader about. However when Reader’s mother learns about the object of their affections they’re scolded for going soft on a class traitor. The wording is something more akin too ‘Now I’ve nothing against the old Gaffer, pleasant spoken enough fellow as is, but I’ll not be having a gamgee for a son in law, far too close with those queer bagginses and I heard Mr Bilbo is teaching samwise letters and all!’ but the meaning is still essentially the same.
