DONT
Send “DONT” to pin my muse against the wall to prevent them from LEAVING
She hadn’t meant to, fight with Jace. She never meant to fight with anyone. But still, the fighting occurred and screaming along with it--and though she wanted so badly to fold over and not fight any longer she believed in this. But, her anger was beginning to get the best of her, anger she hadn’t experienced in quite sometime. So, she had turned to leave. Leave before she blew up any further toward her son, her son who was so passionate and good and she was overwhelmingly proud of.
But, in an instant, her anger turned to dust and was replaced with chilling fear. Her back hit the waall, and his hands were pining her there. she knew he hadn’t meant this in a way to be cruel, she knew that. Jace wasn’t cruel. Not like those who raised her. However in that simple moment, when her back hit the wall and she looked in his eyes, she saw her own eyes. The eyes she’d gotten from her own father.
And she shrieked. Right in her child’s face. A shriek so filled with fear and terror she had hoped neither Jace nor Sophie would ever hear it. She never wanted that, she wanted them to be able to feel protected by her. Not see her as a victim. Yet, in that moment... His hands left her and she sunk to the ground, tears welled in her eyes and unsteady breathes left her lips. “I’m so sorry.” She choked out. “I’m so sorry.”
