[shaking in fear] hi i got. self indulgent. um heres Apollo with his boyfriend

he met Wesker not long after beginning his career at Umbrella, and he very quickly grew to admire Wesker's work (and over the years this became an obsession)

in 2002, Wesker recruited Apollo as a scientist due to Apollo excelling at his work in Umbrella (and wanting to sabotague Umbrella by taking one of their best scientists), and Apollo quickly grew to both respect and agree with Wesker's view of himself as a god. Wesker viewed Apollo as just an assistant, but grew to view him as a "faithful follower" and eventually almost an equal to himself. obviously not the healthiest relationship, but they have their moments.
