First impression
I was pretty neutral towards her up to her release. Not too keen on her design at first to be honest.
Impression now
I’ve come to like her a lot more over time and often play as her. I really like her strings and her character all in all.
Favorite moment
That very moment when she recognized Charlie in the portal in the Next of Kin short. The sound effects and expression right then and there were really strong.
Idea for a story
I would love to hear any stories about her and Charlie’s childhood; what they did, how they interacted etc. Also I would like some stories of her life working for Wagstaff and with Genny. Not exactly a story idea, but an insight in her life prior to The Constant, if you like.
Unpopular opinion
Though I like Winona very much, there is something with her that doesn’t sit quite well with me in the lore that was written prior to DST. I don’t think I can explain what it is in short, but let’s just say she wasn’t what I expected Charlie’s sister to be based on what I learned from the William Carter puzzles. I’ve come to terms with how Klei connected the lore of DS with DST and enjoy the story a lot though.
Favorite relationship
I love the sisterly bond between her and Charlie; sibling relationships are just so wholesome. I also love the bitter, rivalry dynamics between her and Maxwell. And of course love the idea of her relationship with Genny to be something quite special.
Favorite headcanon
I think she was very protective over her little sister.
