What is your thoughts about rachel x apollo?

Oh I'm glad you asked.

I've liked them for a long time now, since the first time I read The Hidden Oracle. It was essentially a crack ship at first, the god and his oracle, the link to the demigods' world and to the mortal world, plus I expected them to spend way more time together starting TOA.

But The Tower of Nero really solidified the idea of this ship for me. They're supporting and watching after each other all along their quest. And in the end (watch out TON spoilers) Apollo decides to appear on Earth with his Lester look (making it easier to interact with him without the whole "godly aura" part) and clearly implies that he'll have way less kids from now on, privileging his present relationships. He has neglected his oracle for so long and is now ready to help and advice her whenever she'd need him. Even if they won't end up together it's canon that they'll forever remain close friends.

I treasure this relationship with my whole heart cause they both deserve a reassuring and funny presence like the other in their life. So friendship? One of my favorite canon ones; Ship? Yes, it has a big potential.
