                        There’s a door.

                               It might be a door you go through every day, or the first time your ever going through it.

                     Either way the door doesn’t go where it’s s̸̢̢͡͞u̴͡p̵̴̡͟͢p̴̀o̢҉̸̸͢s̀̀͜͡è̴̛̛d̵̡͠͠͞ to.

It opens to a bright cheery tavern seemingly lifted right out of a stereotypical fantasy world, and while this may be incredibly confusing, the place seems to call to you, something there drawing you into the warm inviting room.

That feeling vanishes as the door slams shut behind you and the world quakes, and the warm room suddenly seems cold and unfriendly despite nothing having changed.

The barkeeper, a large gruff dark haired man with an eye patch, sighs, and smiles at you. “Whelp, there that goes again. ‘Fraid you’re stuck here ‘till it gets back to your world buddy.”

If you reopen the door it opens to a barren unfamiliar place that definitely isn’t where you came in from. 

The Barkeeper quietly asks a patron of the bar to show you to a dorm, and you’re led out the only other door in the bar, into a blank white hall that seems to stretch on forever, and you’re struck by the unsettling feeling that you’ll be here forever too.

This is an open group verse with several different ending based on player choice entirely inspired by the likes of Fabricated World and False Advertising, and based on a setting created by Mod Kendall’s brother (used with permission).

The rules for muses are as follows:

                                                 VERSE INFO/RULES

I suppose this verse is inspired by Dangan Ronpa (something Mod Kendall isn’t actually familiar with) and so, dark themes will be present. But it is only inspired by proxy, in that there are motives for you to kill, and if you get away with it, you are freed, if not you are executed horribly.

This is an OPEN VERSE. ANYONE is free to join, canon, oc, multi-muse, etc. Cut off is at 40 muses or at the start of chapter one. Apps may open again later, but that’s to be seen. 40 is a hard cap though. If that’s reached, no more will be added. Deaths still count towards the muse cap, dropping however does not.

A mun may only have one version of a single character.

While things may happen on the Discord server, they are never canon. Never. Nothing RP wise on Discord is Canon.

Before everyone was trapped, anyone in the universe had their full powers & abilities - excluding anything that would let them leave before the door got back around to their world- but after she starts the game all powers will be nullified or significantly weakened. Exactly how is up to you, but if your muse is too powerful, we will ask you weaken them more. We want everyone on an even playing field.

The halls aren’t safe after curfew, with monsters wandering, but dorm areas, and other rooms (including the tavern) are safe. 

Likewise, if you go far enough out from the inhabited areas of Wanderers, you’ll find those same monsters, and they get stronger and more frequent the farther you go out.

For the murders, mods will pair off two people (volunteers very much welcome, but otherwise we’ll just go down out list of willing people, asking). One murderer, one victim (or maybe two in later chapters, for both).  They’ll work out the details of it themselves, and confirm it with the mods, at which point 3 random muses will be chosen to discover the body.

Be interactive! Omg please! If you’re a part of this verse, be nice to each other OOC and be welcoming to everyone who joins. And be interactive. If you seen a starter call for the verse, like it. See an open starter with no notes? Respond! Want to plot with someone? Ask them! Be interactive.  You’re stuck in this hell together, might as well make friends! 

Threads of any length are welcome! 

Trials, Body Drops, and other story events will be announced by Pilot or other NPCS.  

Trials are interactive and will be played out by interacting with other members in the group (in thread or just In Character asks) or by sending in character asks to this blog.

When it comes time to vote, votes will be sent into the inbox on this blog. 

Pilot can confirm or deny evidence in an investigation if she’s asked. Pilot will never lie during an investigation can’t say that for her friends though

Applications will be kept private and are for mod’s use in moderating the story. The Masterlist will be updated as applications come in.

Doubles are not an issue.
