I’m watching a scary stories compilation cause I’m bored and low and behold the very first story is abt the Appalachians.

Look, maybe I just don’t live in the spooky area of the Appalachians but what is it with more city-type people being so skittish about the woods?

The description of the property where the story took place closely matches most properties in my rural area, yk, yards with woods around them, like my own family home is surrounded by woods on 3 sides.

The lady in the video acted like that was scary in itself and I’m just sitting here like ????? No??

As long as you ain’t acting stupid, the woods won’t hurt you. My biggest worry is making sure I’m wearing smth high vis during hunting season so I don’t get shot, or twisting my ankle by accidentally stepping into a burrow hole, not some ghost or whatever
