Some Polaroids I snapped of Apple Park’s new Visitor Center in Cupertino. It’s basically an Apple store with a cafe that only serves hot drinks. It also sells t-shirts specifically for that store. Pretty cool place. I was looking forward to visiting to drop by and snap Polaroids and continue my Silicon Valley Polaroid Project. The UFO campus is still under construction. Kinda hard to snap photos of it but I sorta got a Polaroid of it in this set.

So, it came as no surprise when the company decided to build a new campus in Cupertino California, that the specifications called for an energy efficient design.Apple Park, the company’s spaceship styled building is a circular 2.8 million square feet structure, excluding the large hollow space in the middle planted with trees, plants and a pond and spans some 175 acres.

Plans have been in the works for quite some time for the new Apple campus in Austin, TX but work will begin very soon. The price tag is a whopping $1 billion. It will be located near their Mac Pro facility and will become the second largest concentration of Apple workers in the U.S. The contracting company for this project has not been named yet.
