I know that I should stop myself
From trying to look for you
It will only hurt me more
I can’t help but play pretend
The truth is far too bleak.
I’ll say that you and I are in
I’ll close my eyes and count to ten
I know somehow I’ll find you
Maybe then you’ll finally see
I might go around in circles
Like I’m just searching on my own
This endless hunt for love once lost
I know I will run out of breath
A hundred thousand times over
But I will run and search the world
A hundred million times more.
I’ll look for you until the day
I won’t give up until the time
I have nothing left to give.
But I still do and I’m still here
I will wait for you forever
This game of hide and seek will end
When we have found each other.
