Hello fellow Americans it's Apple Time
you know what that means
step one: you're gonna go to your local grocery store and look in the coffee & tea aisle for a carton of chai tea concentrate. tazo sells one. idk probably some other brands sell one. if your local grocery store doesn't have it for some reason your local target almost certainly does. you'll know you have the right stuff because it comes in a quart like a boxed soup broth and it sloshes around a bunch when you pick it up. buy that.
step two: obtain some pressed apple cider. if you can find this at a local apple orchard, farmer's market, or fruit stand, that will obviously be the most delicious, but this time of year your local grocery store probably has it too. heck, if you can't find that, just buy some store brand apple-juice-from-concentrate. it won't be as good but it won't be bad. anything that's not carbonated (though idk, maybe a carbonated version would be good over ice).
mix those bitches together in about a 1:1 ratio. it doesn't have to be exact. I usually do about 3/4 cup chai to 3/4 cup of apple cider and put it all in a big mug, but follow your heart and adjust if you want it to be spicier or more tart.
heat that shit up in the microwave. I guess you could heat it on the stove, too, if you want to wash a whole separate pot. (do not put it in an electric kettle).
take a sip and feel the spirit of fall rushing through you, along with a good amount of Caffeine and all those appley chemicals that make you feel awake and alert and have really weird dreams if you drink it too close to bedtime. feel alive like a crisp autumn breeze. feel motivated like a rolling autumn thunderhead. feel cozy like a roaring autumn bonfire. feel ready to fuck a pumpkin
you're welcome
