Spiked Apple Cider
Happy Apple Weekend—and happy happy hour!
What would a celebration of this seasonal fruit be without a raised glass for toasting? For cocktails this evening, we suggest our Spiked Apple Cider. Using our Apple Juice—made with nothing but 100% organic apples from local farms—plus a blend of spices and a shot of warming rum, it’s the perfect autumnal spirit.
Ingredients:
½ cup of Apple Juice Shot of rum Dash of ground cloves Dash of ground cinnamon Ice
Cinnamon sticks, for serving Apple slices, for serving Sprig of rosemary, for serving
Steps:
In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine Apple Juice, rum, and ground cloves and cinnamon. Shake vigorously until cold.
Pour spiked cider into a glass or mug over ice, garnish with cinnamon sticks, a sprig of rosemary, an apple slice, and serve. Cheers!
Pro Tip:
As the season progresses, our Spiked Cider will also serve well warmed. Simply combine Apple Juice with spices and simmer over medium heat. Before serving, stir in a shot of rum, pour into your goblet, and garnish.
