what do you think the Newsies ships would name a child? Which ship would have the worst names for their kids (I'm betting on Sprace)?

omg okay sooo sorry this took so long for me to answerrrrr but i have my wonky answers loll (featuring the only ships that were in my brain when i wrote these lol) here we go!

javey: okay if they had a boy i think jack would be like "hell yeah lets name him something cool like captiancowboy" or some shit, david would be like "okay what no, how about something nice like benjamin or andrew" or like his dads name or something, but if they had a girl jack is like "moxie or something tough" and david would pick something sweet like "charlotte or hazel" :3

jatherine: ah jatherine, i think for a girl jack would be like "idk youre smarter than me you pick, youll pick somethin nice" and kath would pick smth like "eloise or maybe violet, something cute and fun yet mature" i think if jack had to pick hew would pick like...something suspiciously close to katherine lol and for a boy in this situation jack would pick like, something very normal lol like james, and honestly i think kath would also like that lol

sprace: OH FOR SURE they have a silly name, spot would like like "ah its a boy lets call it rock" and race would be like "HELL YEAH" and for a girl something like peaches or table or like leaf (wait thats actually cute lol)

Gosh no straight up perfect matches but what comes to mind is "I woke up as the Villain" on tapas and "Omniscient Reader" on webtoons. "Humor Me" got a bit of that same feel, also it's a really pretty comic in general and I do recommend it.

Webtoon Originals: Just in general I really like "Parallel City" (I'm not sure how much I can say without spoiling, but the art is great and the action is awesome and ever flowing) & "My ID is Gangnam Beauty!" (a romance, very cute as well as a very different kind of heroine than you usually get). "Surviving Romance" when you think you're reborn into your favourite book but it turns you were reborn into a zombie au fanfic lol. "The Lone Necromancer" is sorta cliche but with some fun characters and it's SO nicely drawn, you should check it out. I really liked the storytelling in the first season of "Castle Swimmer" aka the gay fish, romance story that feels like it could be a popular cartoon on like CN. "Chasing Tails" is a crime/mystery comic that's super at having you go crazy trying to figure out the true story with clues from every chapter. "Jackson's Diary" is a high school romance/mystery supernatural story and I like how it's drawn too.

CRUSH3D!!! - a story about hockey but also gay.

Fox Fires - pretty story about a tanuki in the scandinavian woods trying to solve an old mystery (Obs haven't read all of it yet)

Chronoctis Express - more classical look with a really cool worldbuilding (Obs haven't read all of it yet)

Gather Ye Power - also more classic, it's mostly humor and also the main character gives the gift of immortality to his pet rat, so a guy with his head on straight clearly. (Obs haven't read all of it yet)

Colorless - I understand nothing but it's really lovely :,,,)

Black Sun - was just given the notice that it will turn into a Webtoon Original so it won't update for a while probably, but it's a cool action story to keep your eyes on

Ooh what didn’t you like about the music production?? I’m curious

Oh wow I'm not talented enough to put it into words, but I think it was a bit... over-produced? 'Surface Pressure' especially went pretty heavy on the autotune.

I think the reason "we don't talk about Bruno" had the biggest break is because (apart from having the best singers in the movie, ironically the side characters) it's the only song that actually 100% sounds like a disney-musical song and not a misplaced pop-song. Musicals tend to go for clear vocals to carry the song, orchestra + back up singers because it should be possible to perform effectfully on a live stage, so when there's a lot of mixing it throws you off. It's sorta like the song they added to the live action Aladdin movie, it's not bad, it just doesn't fit in.

But part of it is that some of the singers here aren't strong enough to carry the songs on their own, so you go to the sound design to make them "bigger" and it doesn't quite work

To be fair, Isabela's song is all about not being perfect, so having her not sound like a typical Disney princess makes sense to me

oh I don't think she sounded bad, the lower parts are really good, and the higher parts are, well, avoided? I just think that if they wanted to sell the whole Disney-princess thing about her character it would fit better with someone that could really go all out with the big, long notes lol

i don’t have an answer to your biting question sadly (though it does seem like normal behaviour, judging from the standpoint of someone who has interacted with a lot of human babies) but… do you perchance have pictures of the miniature piglets?
