here's another fun one: big rat.

every hour, one random tumblr user gets chosen to have a big rat (it has to be a rat) sit on top of their posts. Thats 8,760 rat opportunities per year. big rat sits on all their posts for an hour. if you get picked for big rat and youre not on tumblr well sorry you missed it. but wouldn't that make it all the more special? People could ask "who has big rat right now?" And send their friends screenshots of when big rat sat on top of their posts. the people would love big rat.

For me, censorship laws are a lot like the death penalty. There are people I wish would die, but I don't want the government to have any say over who lives or dies (because then they can stretch laws out to justify killing someone they dont like). There are stories that I think are reprehensible and should have never been written, but I don't want the government to have any say over which stories are reprehensible (because then they can stretch out what they deem wrong out to fit anything they don't like)

Controversial opinion, I don't think Trimax Vash would have pulled the trigger to save Wolfwood either.

I think it matters that what he was mentally saving wasn't a life but the thing that Wolfwood chose to die for.

No, looking at the track record so far, I don't think they're killing Wolfwood here (or at all). Possibly making his hair a bit whiter by drinking another vial.

While it's all related in the manga, I think Legato (Vash's ultimate foil) is the one who needs to die for Vash to grow as a character, and as a symbol of killing a part of himself. Wolfwood's death losing meaning is a personal, human fear, not one built on great ideals. It matters to Vash because Wolfwood matters to him. Legato forces Vash to face the human flaws of his pacifism - that love and connection to others are as intertwined in morality as any other definition, that passivity isn't always a real solution.

Wolfwood dying to save his family was a perfect thing to use for that, especially as it directly mirrors Knives in the fight, but it's not the only thing they could use for the same effect. Frankly I don't even think using Wolfwood's actual death as a threat really holds the same weight.

Do I think Stargaze will pull it off to satisfaction though? lol no. They haven't built up the characters well enough, I wouldn't be surprised if no one died. Plus Vash is at the point where things happening don't even feel like it's raising the stakes, it's just another day in the poor baby Vash getting zero wins factory. Like I'm just cringing watching it, it feels like watching someone getting bullied
