Hello! New follower here 😊 I've just very recently gotten a Kenyan Sand Boa & was wondering if you had any advice or suggestions? She's 3mo old & we were told not to put water or anything heavy in her cage as she could get hurt. Please & thank you!

I keep water in my KSB’s cage and I regularly see him drinking! I also have a heavy piece of sandstone in there and it’s well-grounded on the base of the tank. You want to secure anything heavy, but they very often appreciate something to climb on- I do see mine bask pretty regularly. Providing some cage decor, such as rocks and sticks to climb on, allows them to have that choice if they want- and provides them with something to do besides burrow! The water dish I use is very shallow, but I think it’s important to offer water! Access to water is something that we can do to make their captive lives better! And a small, shallow water dish will not affect the humidity in any major way. A lot of sand boa owners do things differently and their snakes are fine, but that’s the way I like to keep things!

The error appeared as soon as I downloaded/installed the game so I wasn't able to access it at all prior to fixing it, so technically no :) I'm so sad I didn't get Serenity though!

The Serenity event is still active on mine, so you might have a few more hours to blast through. If you have the time, I’d suggest trying. She’s so cute. Just don’t worry about getting 3 stars per Stage like I usually do. Clear and move on.
