I usually get Galas, but I went apple picking once upon a time and fell in love with Empire. I just looked them up though and found out the original seed was a Macintosh/Red Delicious cross whoops... don’t hate me...

Mini pumpkins: How do you decorate for fall/Halloween?

Last weekend when we went to the mall I was planning on getting spiderweb decorations for my room, but then with the stolen wallet and all... it didn’t happen... Back home we used to put up fall colors and some pumpkins. 

Sweaters: What's your favorite sweater?

I have a really warm and comfy cable sweater I love.

Scarves: What's your favorite album to listen to in the fall?

Hm I don’t have a favorite really? I love the soundtrack to The Nightmare before Christmas though which I tend to play often this time of year.

4:What was the last book you added to your tbr? Literally every Murakami ever. I’m nearly done with Kafka on the Shore and I ADORE IT, so I’m planning to read through the rest of his works asap, especially The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle. 

8:Paperback or hardcover? Why? Paperback. I often bend the covers when I hold them so they fit better in my hands (I know, terrible) so it’s just more comfortable to read a paperback. 

24:Do you prefer to buy books online or in a bookshop? In a bookshop. I like just browsing, flipping through pages, reading blurbs, to get a feel for if I’d like the book. (And then doing a lot of impulse-buying.) I only buy online if I already know what I’m looking for. 

40:Name one of your favorite books from your teenage years. I mean I’m still in my teenage years, but Kundera’s L'Insoutenable légèreté de l'être. 

44:Do you like to listen to music when you read? No. I need quiet or nature sounds to read comfortably.

48:Where is your favorite place to read? In winter -- by the fireplace with a cat on my lap and warm tea. In summer -- outside, anywhere, as long as I’m not being attacked by insects lmao. I hate reading inside most of the time tbh.

Icarus, Persephone, and Hermes

Icarus: what’s your fatal flaw? Forgives too easily.

Persephone: what’s your favorite season? Winter, at least in New England. Winter in Paris barely qualifies. 

Hermes: where do you want to travel that you’ve never been before? Zambia. I’ve always wanted to see where my mother grew up.

Psycho Pass

I rediscovered this in my drafts from many months ago… whoops!

Favorite Male Character: Makishima. He’s intelligent, a relatable antagonist, and I admire him. We share the same tastes in books. (I love Kirito too but let’s stick to season 1..)

Favorite Female Character: Yayoi. Because she’s a badass, and her backstory ep moved me a lot. Also, she’s gay. 

Least Favorite Character: Probably the Chief, but then again, she embodies the entire System so does that count?

Favorite Ship: I don’t ship much in this show, but probably Yayoi/Takizaki just because I don’t like Shion much. And I loved that backstory ep. 

Favorite Friendship: Ginoza and Akane. There were many reversals between them over the series, and development of mutual respect which I found interesting. 

Favorite Quote: “It is not society that determines people’s futures. It is people who determine society’s future.” - Akane

Worst Character Death (if any): Kagari’s death. I may or may not have cried. 

This made me so happy you have no idea Moment: … there aren’t many happy moments.

Saddest Moment: When Ginoza’s father is killed. Or Kagari’s death. It’s been a while I don’t remember. 

Favorite Location: Future!Tokyo alone is pretty awesome.

Hollywood Starlet and Shy Nymph

Hollywood Starlet: invent a movie where you would be the main character. A psychological thriller with supernatural and/or sci-fi elements about someone living in the modern world who can remember all their past (reincarnated) lives. I’m thinking Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind-style regarding filming technique, atmosphere, and cold color scheme. A non-linear narrative that keeps the viewer in the dark for a large portion of the film. I’d want it to be visually ornate with accurate depictions of historical events/dress/behavior. An ethnically diverse cast and varied settings are a must. I’m not sure where the plot should go, but something that explores the effect of memory on identity would be interesting. Also lots of (accurately portrayed) lesbians, and it’d be perfect.

Adopt a pigeon so I can skewer it and slowly roast it alive in my fireplace. Are there animal cruelty teams controlling the pigeon adopters? Be adopted by JJ the IV because… uh, no, there is no way to justify this aside from the fact I’d rather die than marry him. Marry Kristina with a K because that would probably drive her homophobic ass insane, and… god, this would be a hilarious marriage.
