He woke up with a collar around his neck, silver burning into his skin as he jerked awake in a panic, causing a rattle of chains behind him as his bounds followed him. Atsushi wasn’t in the forest, he wasn't home. He wasn't anywhere he recognised.

Strange white tiles clacked underneath his claws, slippery and smooth as he struggled to get to his feet, the strange metal muzzle not his helping his attempt. The last thing he could remember-

“There you go,” Leather hand patted his head with far too much liberty, touching, and patting Atsushi down like a particularly hard won trophy. “You’ll do nicely, won’t you? Beast of the moonlight.”

ahhhh posting chapter 28 of BUN (buckle in, nakajima) tmrw but here's a teaser. I'm pretty excited about this chapter tbh, trying out smth new, but ummm i'm excited anyway. Just need to finish editing but I don't have enough time tonight for that, need to get up early tmrw. But I'll be posting it tomrrow midday. Here's an exceprt anyway to enjoy :3 just an idea of what'll happen lol. link to the fic is below.

I think I understand now, seeing him there with her. It all makes sense, really doesn’t it? How he is.

There’s a way about him, how he holds himself, how he reacts and never acts, how he talks, how he watches you.

-Me?

Us, everyone. Everyone he talks to, but especially her.

-Yeah, he couldn’t keep his eyes of her. It was like-

Like what?

-Like he’s wishing for something. He’s got want in his eyes, every time he looks at her he’s asking for something. Every time he apologises, every time he check in, says he loves her, he’s asking for something, without ever saying the words.

Asking for what?

-I don’t know? Love, kindness, affection? Something she’s not giving him. Something he’s desperate for.
