This is a 5th generation #iPod it came in dead as a door nail the customer hadn't used it in years he said but kept it around because he still had music and videos on it that he wanted to try to recover someday. That someday is today. I told him I'd see what I could do about it. First thing will be to check the drive to make sure it's mechanically sound then move on to the next potential issue which is the battery it'll most likely have to be replaced.
