Men have been writing ridiculous misogynistic stuff about women's biology for thousands of years - wandering bloody wombs anyone? And that was coming from a man still hailed as a genius - but as soon as a woman insults the Y chromosome all these guys shit their pants in outrage, it's hilarious.

I hate how we're not even allowed to criticise our shitty minimum wage jobs because we should be thankfull we have a job at all (sounds like the people who tell western women to shut up and be grateful they're allowed to vote). All the protections that are now being stripped away were the result of unions and organised worker action. What the fuck is going to happen in the future if no one can even make throwaway complaints about shitty, exploitative jobs? Bosses love that 'be GRATEFUL!' shit.

yep! It can pretty much all be summed up with  "be grateful for your oppression! somebody has to be at the bottom it may as well be somebody besides me!"

do the comparisons people are making between lena dunham and men like polanski and woody allen seem ok to you? i mean, the way she is exploiting her sister as a culpable adult is disgusting, but a 7 year old girl in a sexually abusive household (or at least a fucked up one, from her account of it) isn't the same as an adult male predator

I'm already swimming in MRAs and angry, porn loving trans women over the things that I've already said about this situation, so I'm gonna leave this one open to someone else to answer if they so choose.
