Regulus had never been hugged by a Saint before. Actually, maybe one or two people had hugged him in his whole life. Not a bad thing, in his opinion. For a kid raised among animals, a kid who survived in the middle of a forest eating roots and dead insects, hugs and such fondness weren’t the most important things in life. In fact, there were many others ways to show affection. He knew them all too well.
Still... A hug was always welcome in his life. Especially coming from Kardia.
Because Kardia hugged with all his body, arms and locks of hair and chin. Everything engulfing the Leo Saint and pulling him close, a warm feeling coming from the Scorpio’s cosmo. Or maybe it was just his heart. Regulus returned his gesture with a tight squeeze, his laugh loud and joyful. A new hug, always welcome.

“I don’t care if this happens to you often, sometimes you still could be more careful with your own self.” Her tone was low and severe, words verging disapproval. Calvera carefully straightened up the soft pillow under his head, moving soaked bangs away from his pale face. Kardia’s cheeks and forehead were bloody red, beads of sweat rolling down his pulsing temples. The man was burning up in fever, and saying she could feel his warmth from where she stood wasn’t an overstatement. She had been sitting next to his weak body for some minutes now, and none of her attempts to ease his illness had worked. What could she do to truly help him now?
“… The cloth I used to wet your neck is almost as hot as you, that didn’t work. Should I just dump cold water over you? No, that’d be too extreme and sudden, you could die right here.” Brown irises carefully studied the Scorpio on her watch, left hand massaging his chest, feeling the beat of an ill heart under its palm. If nothing worked, she would have to use something else. But would that work again this time?
“Don’t be silly, you’re stronger than that!” Kardia shielded his eyes for a moment when the glare hit really hard, but he was used to mornings like this, maybe without the saving someone from a nightmare part. "The sooner you get moving, the sooner you’ll wake up,“ he told Aiolia certainly, hooking their arms together so that he could pull him along more easily.
”…well, that actually wasn’t what I was thinking. Like I said, I always get up this early…usually this early.“ None of the little shops or stands in the nearby villages were actually open this early, so he’d have to feed Aiolia out of his own kitchen. "But if that’s what you want, we can go do that after you help me make breakfast!”
It was, if nothing else, a good way to distract Aiolia from whatever had chased him through his sleep.
It does not take long for the village to be glowed in bright gold color because of the sun light. Not that Aiolia loathed the fiery orbs, it’s just too strong for the eyes to handle its brightness. The lion struggled before he gave up and turned around while still holding Kardia’s arms.
“Sure, I’m quite hungry.” Aiolia stated while rubbing his eyes. “Let’s go back inside.” Greece is at the peak of summer. Aiolia sighed before fanning himself with his hand; as if it would cool him down. “Such heat in the morning..It is the same amount of heat as your body, Kardia.” He joked lightly.
Ordinarily Regulus would have noticed Kardia coming about, with his fiery Cosmo and loud steps, but that day... He was too concentrated on his task, placing one bright beetle first, then a dried up flower, and a beetle again... His attention wandering through the outer space. Regulus jumped a little when he felt the Scorpio behind his back, crystalline eyes wide open turning to him.
“... Ah! Hey, Kardia. It’s nothing, really.” He was playing. Alone, as always.
