To all the mommas getting up countless times in the middle of the night to soothe a hungry or scared child. 𝐈 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮.⁣ ⁣ To all the stay at home moms/dads wearing so many different hats that you don’t know what day it is, who’s got a science project due tomorrow, and how you’re going to pick up the kids when the baby just feel asleep for a nap. 𝐈 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮.⁣ ⁣ To the working parent getting up and grinding all day every day to contribute to your family, so the kids can go to camp or your get equipment for baseball.⁣ ⁣ To all of you SLAYING all the little tasks that fill your day but largely go unnoticed by everyone else. 𝐈 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮.⁣ ⁣ Being a parent is often a thankless job. We took for granted all the things our parents did, what they had to sacrifice, to make sure we were clothed, fed, and happy. Often, we didn’t see the struggle, and I’m sure there were many times we didn’t appreciate it.⁣ ⁣ Now we’re the adults.
