Snuggleslut Headcanons: Haventhorne Edition ☕️🗡

Eli(as) Haventhorne

Born two minutes later than his sister because he was busy stealing all the snuggleslut he could before blessing the world with his presence

Will snuggle any time of the day but his preferred time to snuggle is the morning. He stumbles out of bed and somehow, eyes still closed, makes his way to the kitchen where he will drop his chin onto your shoulder or nuzzle into your shoulder blades until you feed him something

Always touching. Always. Does not realise he is always touching but is always touching. Fingers on wrist. Lips to temple. Hand brushing while walking. A l w a y s.

When overtired (which is often as he is stubborn and also overestimates his ability to stay awake) will become stroppy if not allowed to snuggle

Is the only one who is allowed to snuggle Ari with no warning without risking losing at least 3.5 fingers

Voted Least Likely To Be Snuggleslut 

Would actually prefer if you did not touch her unless you are having sex with her or trying to defend yourself while she’s trying to murder you (it’s her job don’t worry) scratch that, do not try to defend yourself you’re just wasting everyone’s time

Cannot handle soft sex or gentleness of any kind in intimate situations. If you run your fingertips up her arm, if you maintain eye contact with her for too long, if you kiss her bare shoulder and let your lips linger, her throat will go tight and she will try to push you away. If you insist on making her face them, you will need to pull her in tight and hold her there, reassure her that it’s okay, that she’s allowed to be touched softly and be loved and not everything has to be a violent way to atone for her sins

Eli is able to surprise snuggle without risking losing his fingers, and he’s the only one who has the benefit of extended snuggles - she will allow him as much as he needs without complaining, because she knows it’s important to him

I've always wanted to create visual representations for my apprentices but I can't draw and I don't want to just pay someone to deisgn it for me. What do you use for your apprentices? Or do you have any suggestions or things you know about? I know Piccrew but I can never find nice ones!! Thanks (:

I gave a few different Picrews on this post that I like the design of and which have lots of variety to them. There are also a lot of dollmakers online like Lunaii and Doll Divine.

For me, though, I’ve come to prefer character designs in Sims 4. I play it regularly anyway and I have a lot of CC, so there’s pretty much no limit to how much I can play around with them.

I’ve made Eli and Ari on so many Picrews and dollmakers, and these are by far my favourite versions of them, even with the modern twists:

8. Romance.  What is something that your character and their LI love to do together?  How do they show affection?

Ari: Depends on the LI. Lucio and Ariana are physical people who show ‘affection’ by angry fucking. But that is really just what Ari needs, and so from Lucio’s end it’s being close by, it’s being in the same room and smiling across from it, it’s the back-and-forth of Lucio saying something openly dumb and affectionate with bravado and Ariana threatening to rip his innards out. But at night, beneath the strips of moonlight that drop across their bed (moved by Lucio for Ariana), they’re just...soft. Ariana is soft. She curls into his side, breaths softly into the crook of his neck while her lashes flutter. She is every bit the young girl, the innocent 16 year old, the wide-eyed 21 year old, that she should have been given the chance to be.

Eli: It has been previous stated that Elias Aedion Haventhorne is a Snuggleslut. He must be close to the person he loves in whatever way he can - an innocent touch to the arm, a full on hand hold, a head on the shoulder, a brush of hair from the face. Loves to fall asleep. He and Asra will usually be found taking naps in weird places around the shop. For Rory, he uses the word rohrn and also likes to flash a dimply grin. Really loves to cuddle after sex. Loves eye contact during sex. *Loves loves loves* to give oral with the goal of making his partner cry from love and overstimulation (looking at you, Rory). He holds nothing back, affection is just regular Eli behaviour.

18. Embarrassment.  What is something really embarrassing that your character has done/said?

Super boring, but neither of my children get embarrassed. Eli is too dumb and affectionate and Ariana is too stabby. If they’ve done anything considered embarrassing, they certainly didn’t think so.

10. WTF.  Has anything just…weird ever happened to your character?  Something that made them stop and go “What just happened?!”

Ari: As a young assassin, Ariana didn’t get regular nights off, but when she did she usually made the best of them. On one such night she got rip roaring drunk at The Raven, got kicked out for trying to goad the bartender into hosting a knifethrowing competition, and then proceeded to swipe a bottle of whiskey before escaping and climbing to the rooftops. She spent a fair bit of time that night balancing on edges and peering down into the street. Imagine her confusion and amusement when she spotted a certain Count and his consul half-dressed in an alley, the Count getting railed by said consul while shouting “YES, PILLAGE MY VILLAGE!!”. She didn’t stick around for long. Or maybe she just passed out before they finished.

Eli: Eli has definitely come home to see Asra eating a five day old sandwich. He has also seen his sister talking to her short swords while cleaning them. And Julian crying over a pen that wasn’t working. And Asra flipping off the stove salamander at 3am. And Asra high fiving him after sex. It’s...he sees and is a victim of a lot of weird things and it’s just easier not to talk about them.

12. Secrets.  What is a secret that your character has?  Are they in line for the throne in a far off land?  Was there this one time at band camp…?  Are they secretly involved in an assassin’s guild?

ahahahahahahaha

Ari: canonically Ariana is an assassin and the magic is just something she has on the side (and absolutely despises). There is also a fun AU with @queenofeden‘s child Laurel, where Ariana is indeed a lost princess. She actually doesn’t have that many secrets unless they’re AU specific - for all the trouble she has showing her emotions, the truth is actually quite easy for her.

Eli: they’re twins, so canonically Eli is also technically an assassin but he sticks to the bounty hunting/sending threats/smuggling side of it. In that same AU mentioned above, he is ALSO royalty, but he knows it and @thesanguinerose‘s Rory is forced to be his bodyguard. One secret he has never told anyone is that in Ari’s canon, where he helps Asra bring her back, Eli’s part of the deal is that there are years taken off his life in order for Ari to have more. He doesn’t know how many, or when it will come for him, but he’s aware every moment that his life will be significantly shorter than Ari’s.

5. Hidden talents.

6. Magical talents.  Is there a specific type of magic that your character excels at?  Any magic they aren’t so great at?  Or do they actually shy away from magic altogether?

Ari: For reasons relating to her backstory (village curse that killed her mother, magically insane matrilineal line) Ariana isn’t a magic lover. When I play her in routes, I always have a little story going on in my head about her using magic but not wanting to, and the deeper she gets into the story the more she resents it. It makes for some...interesting interactions and reactions, but thankfully I never make her magical in any other AUs so it’s only in canon and jointcanon with @queenofeden‘s Laurel that she has to suffer this.

Eli: Eli is actually quite a magical boy! I’ve never gone into it much detail in writing or even really in my own head, because his main “thing” for me is his emotional openness and how kind he is. I sat down and had a think about this, and I decided that Eli’s specific magical talents are to do with empathy and transmutation. Some sort of...weird mixture of the two. His abilities are specifically ‘binding magic’, the ability to form connections between two things, which can go very very right or very very wrong. Thankfully for Eli, it goes very very right, and so he is able to form bonds between people (consensually) in the form of marriage, handfasting, etc. or in the form of protective bonds (like the one he cast on himself and Ariana when she was first resurrected). The transmutation-ish part of this magic is that if it’s a bond between person/thing or thing/thing, the person/thing he enchants shifts according to what it is bonded with. I haven’t really thought about the logistics or benefits of this, but it seems fitting for him. Possibly things like using the magic on two types of flowers to create a new kind, or between an umbrella and a coat to make it rainproof, or a person and a pogostick to give them the ability to bounce (I think person/item would be temporary).

Oh I would be blessed and honoured 😭 Eli adores making friends with absolutely anyone (he was once voted most likely to befriend a doorknob in a poll that was conducted and voted in solely by an exasperated Asra). Be warned: he’s a friend snuggleslut too. Will frequently jump into arms and/or onto backs. If seated together, will lay himself out across said friend. If friend is not comfortable with snugglesluttery, that’s okay too: just being around them is enough for this snuggleslut.
