Number 10 - Favourite Song
Ari’s
Ariana is a showtunes gal despite never having seen most of where her favourite tunes come from. Her favourite ones to scream along to are ‘Cell Block Tango’ from Chicago and ‘Defying Gravity’ from Wicked. She has an insanely powerful singing voice but takes particular joy in dropping and manipulating her voice into poor imitations of each part of the showtunes she sings, with matching dance moves and facial expressions.
For regular music, she’s what I could only describe as a Neon 80s Pop gal. Songs that have that kind of vibe to them where they sound like they should be playing in the next room at a party at 2am or in a prom dance scene in a movie set in the 80s. Think The 1975′s ‘Robbers’ or Chase Atlantic’s ‘Triggered’. She’s also a huge fan of Toto’s ‘Hold the Line’. She also loves the Tombstones remix of Spooky Scary Skeletons??
Feyre’s
HUGE classical music fan, especially piano as she plays it. Likes having it on when she’s working. Vivaldi’s ‘Four Seasons’ (summer is her favourite). In a world with YouTube she would put on a random playlist and get suckered into the rabit hole of ‘hardest piano music to play’ videos and just screaming like a seagull at the insane skill of the people who can play them.
Modern music, however, she’s a Hozier fan. ‘Jackie and Wilson’ is her favourite, but she’ll listen to anything by him, and anything that sounds even vaguely like it was written by a mysterious forest nymph who worships ladies as their full time job.
Mine
‘W.A.M.S’ by Fall Out Boy, and even THAT is a tough one to call. I was, still am and always will be an, Emo Trinity Kid.
