The culture of any country can only come from the workers. The rich don't have nursery rhymes or dances for the evening, when the work is done. For culture is such a core part humanity, that any person who bought power and riches with theirs will never understand it. The rich will try to appropriate the culture of the working class, but it will be sanitized and without soul, only a glimpse of it's true heritage shining through. The rich don't have a culture. And so they try to impose their idea of culture on the whole of society. But that imposed culture, those office blocks, the talkshows and the glamour will always ring hollow to those that saw what culture is, what it should be.
