Got tagged by Kyralih Ahem! Questions!:D
1.) Have you ever ridden in a cab? Where were you going? Yeah! It was all in one day actually. My friends and I took the train down to Santa Cruz to go to the boardwalk but the train led to a bus, and the bus led to a stop that was quite the walk away from the boardwalk and it was a discounted seven dollars to take a cab. I guess they worked out some deal since people took cabs from this bus station to the boardwalk often. So we took a cab to the boardwalk and then back to the station when we were done. It was a cute, fun little day trip even if there was the whole wallet situation.
2.) Which beverage would you most look forward to after being outside for a while on a chilly winter day? I’ve really gotten into teas, so yeah, a tea. I have this nice chai tea that had cocoa powder blended into it. With a bit of milk added in, it’s really nice on a chilly day. Warm, aromatic and has a soft spicy kick. (shut up)
3.) Did you ever walk to school? How did you get there most days? Nope! Never in my life. Always lived too far away so my parents have always driven me. I know right?
4.) Have you ever fallen in public? XD Too many times to count! One time I fell and slid down a hall and the most recent time was when I got the heel of my shoe caught on a stair at the movie theatre. I fell down six stairs on my knees, slid forward when I hit the actual floor, and then slid only to fall on my face just short of the seats on the floor.
5.) Have you ever been caught eavesdropping/snooping somewhere you shouldn’t have been? Nope, I’m so good at snooping.
6.) Please describe one of the prettiest places you’ve ever seen! The pool at Hearst Castle near San Lois Obispo (I forget the actual town it’s in). So this is the inside pool and first of all, it’s huge. I mean, big as a football field. The building itself has two floors and the second floor is all for jumping into the pool. Well, not all because first there are carvings and mosiacs all around it. Mosiacs made of turquoise and some other rare stones, I just remember the turquoise bit and about two or four little waterfalls cascading down to the pool below. Oh, and the pool floor. It’s painted a really dark, rich blue and is flecked with gold. Not gold paint, ACTUAL GOLD. The point is: imagine diving into the night sky. Yeah, prettiest place I’ve ever seen. Not to mention the rest of the castle. Wait, that’s right, Hearst didn’t even consider this to be his castle. His castle was in Mexico. This was the summer house. Did I mention the dining room was the inspiration for the grand hall in the Harry Potter films? Okay, I’m done. Moving on.
7.) What were your grandparents like? I never met my dad’s grandparents so I can’t say much about them and I only met my mother’s mom once. My mom’s father though was amazing. I had only seen him a few times before he passed away since my mother was astranged from her family but I remember that he was always so sweet. He took me out to breakfast and made sure I got everything that I wanted before he ordered his bacon and eggs. Nothing else, just bacon and eggs. He was a simple guy but a hard worker. Even at 70+ years old (I didn’t know how old he was) and with his diabetes he always tried to help my uncle out. He thought that since his son was taking care of him, he still had to try. He’d try to cook, try to help with the yardwork, even try to clean the house. He didn’t really believe in taking things for granted or taking advantage of good people.
8.) Have you ever made anything by hand? I make friendship bracelets a lot. The kind where you have tie knots over and over again. I’m pretty good if I do say so myself. Not as good as Tingin though.
9.) What do you do when you’ve done something wrong? (How would someone know when you were acting suspicious?) So far I’ve never gotten caught so I guess I’m pretty good. I do have one tell though. I usually deny it twice and then turn the question around on them. That way so it doesn’t seem to sudden but I still seem angry or upset at them questioning me. Also, repetition builds up a false sense of security to people. They think they’ve cracked your code when really you’ve just fooled them. Only works if you’re lying to the same person over and over again though.
10.) Has anything supernatural ever happened to you? Back when I used to use an alarm clock the following would happen once a month, every month for about 3 years. My alarm clock was the kind that you didn’t have to turn back on. You’d hit it twice in the morning, it’d stop ringing but it would never turn OFF off. However, once a month it wouldn’t work. Now, I’d usually be awake since I’m part of the generation that never sleeps or it would wake me up although, sometimes, I slept through it. Okay, so, my door would open up real slow like and I’d sit there, staring at it. First couple of time, I’d be scared shitless because no one would come through. A moment would pass, then the door would close again. In the morning, my alarm wouldn’t go off. A month passes, it happens again. It was only until I started using my cell phone as an alarm did it stop. Hasn’t happened since and I don’t know what that means but I KNOW what I saw and it happened way too often for it to have been a dream or something.
11.) Have you ever daydreamed of escaping the real world and being a hero elsewhere? Every day of my life. Sometimes if I’m walking alone I think that some Wizard of Oz type shit will happen and I’ll get whisked away on a storm breeze. If only.
OKAY! MY QUESTIONS!
1.) If you had a power, what power would that be and give me a situation where you would use it?
2.) What’s something that you daydream about regularly that you wouldn’t mind sharing with us?
3.) What’s your favorite season/time of the year and why?
4.) Describe your natural habitat, by which I mean where you feel most comfortable or your ideal place to be.
5.) What is the most embarrasing thing you’ve ever said either on purpose or an accident? Or both.
6.) What song is running through your head right now? Or whatever song was running through it recently.
7.) If you were a subject/class/major, what subject/class/major would you be and why?
8.) The sun, the moon, or the stars?
9.) What color do you dislike the most?
10.) Tell me about a dream you remember vividly.
11.) What do you love about yourself the most?
