an update
Hi! long time no see, its definitely been a while! I'm not completely sure yet why I am making this post, I might take it down later after I inevitably overthink it. I think I wanted to give some sort of update, so, I AM ALIVE!! This account has in many ways been left abandoned, but I never once forgot about it.
I created this account about 4 years ago, when I was 16, in high school, in a global pandemic. I'm 20 now, I'm entering my third year of college, and I dont build as much as I used to. My life has gotten considerably more complicated, but I can say with confidence that I am happier. I still come back to this account every so often to look at it, like its a time capsule. I had so much crazy shit happening in my life when I was posting on it, and creating these builds became a way for me to escape. I know that might sound a bit silly, but when I would make them I could pretend I was someone else, that I was somewhere else. It allowed me to explore different stories and worlds, and I am so thankful that there was a community of people who were receptive to that.
Again, I'm not really sure why I am saying all this, I think I am just feeling a bit nostalgic, which again, sounds silly because I am only 20. But, I love that 16 year old girl, and I love the weird art she made.
I think I am going to try building again, and from the bottom of my heart, really thank you to all the people that took the time to support that 16 year old kid. (i really hope this wasn't too sappy and i apologize for the overuse of commas)
