Huey and April [Part 3]

Huey: Ugh, paperwork...

April, barging in: Look who's got more deals! Hold on– Hahaha! Since when do you wear glasses? You look like an old man!

April laughs as Huey's anger boils up. Huey slams his hand on his desk.

Huey: Why are you here?

April, still laughing: What's got you so angry?

Huey: What's got me so angry? Like you don't know!? You announce you're taking over my company and put me through so much.

Huey, getting in April's face: You know what? I'm done! You want a battle? I'm giving you a battle! Instead of you taking over my company

I'm taking over yours!

April: ... H-Ha! Very funny. Like you could ever manage that.

Huey: I mean it. You think I'm kidding?

Huey grabs a ton of paperwork and throws it in the air.

Huey: Pick any page. They're all million dollar deals that the "nicer" me would never take.

April, grabbing a few pages: Manufacturing, stocks, taking over smaller companies... You can't be serious.

Huey, snatching the papers back: I can't be? You wanted this.

Huey pushes April out of his office.

Huey: Now... Get out of my building before I call security.

April: I-I think I broke Huey...

Matilda: Miss April? If you don't mind, your next meeting is starting in 30 minutes.

April: R-Right. Can you tell the driver to pull the limo around?

Matilda: Of course, ma'am.

Matilda: Hehehe. Things are going better than expected. these idiots really don't suspect a thing.

April in disguise: Of all the stupid things you can do with blackmail, you're choosing to "hang out" for a day? Really? Not "a million dollars" or "an expensive vacation?" You just want to "hang out?"

Dewey: What can I say? You're rich and I'm bored. It's a small price to pay for your secret gaming life.

April, thinking: What's he really got planned?

April: Grrr...

April: You've got the richest woman in Duckburg and all you want to so is... try on clothes?

Dewey: So? Even I need a break. Especially from my brother and my new coworker.

April: Huh...

Dewey: Now let's get you in some fun outfits.

Dewey: Now we're talking! You've never had one before?

April: My stylists only deal in professional wear. If I wear something too casual, there goes my image.

Random person: Is that April Duck?

Other Person: Ugh, her? Is she going to buy the store and bulldoze it?

Random Person: Ha, right? She'd do something worse. Maybe bulldoze the store while we're all in it. She is the "heartless queen." Haha! Haha!

Dewey: Hey! My friend isn't April. "Her Highness" wouldn't dare mingle with the "lower classes."

Random person: Oh, right, sorry! Dude, I thought we were whispering.

April: Is that how people see me? As a "heartless queen?"

Dewey: Well... yeah? I didn't take you as the type to be bothered by stuff like that.

April: N-No, I'm not bothered at all!

April: You'll never believe what happened!

April: Ugh, today has been such a drag!

Webby, unamused: You don't say?

April: Every other company is out to get me, I swear.

Webby: Mhm... You do realize we're basically enemies, right?

April: Enemies? What are you talking about?

Webby: I've had to fight your companies at least 4 times the past few months for environmental concerns, illegal dumping, and workers' rights.

April with big, sad eyes: So? I don't make every single decision my companies do, and I don't know where else to go...

Webby: Uuuh...? Ugh... You can stay. Unlike some people, I'm not a greedy, heartless CEO.

April: Okay, rude. But thanks.

Are we gonna see gosalyn or any appreance ?

I have a few small plans for her to appear, nothing major at the moment. Her talking with Louie about working with DW and why April likes her.

Honestly, a lot of my Darkwing related stuff is currently on pause until I see if anything will come of the Darkwing Reboot. I heard something about it taking place in modern day, kinda of like QPAU, where everyone is aged up.

If that's true, then I can incorporate their designs. If not, then at least I tried, and I'll just have to design an older version of Quiverwing.

April: When I was a pop star (in her 20s), someone caught me in an alley. Normally, I'm with my sisters, but I had to make a quick phone call...

Quiverwing showed up and saved me. She was amazing.
