My First Year of Artfight Attacks

Here's how my first year of Artfight went! I started a wee bit late and did 6 attacks total from 11th-31stJuly.

Red-kuni's sweet little autism coded duck Aguacate was my FIRST ARTFIGHT ATTACK EVER! This was very simple and oddly relaxing to draw; a nice comfortable way to kinda ease me into drawing ducks again as well as Artfight as a whole.

They then revenge attacked me w/ the most delicious lineless art of my character;

yummy 😋 !

After that, @transgncon 's attacked me w/ their Adorable drawing of Twirlfeather;

So cheeky and CUTE!!

I absolutley HAD to to take revenge and draw all 4 of her Fearsome Four girlies! Drawing characters other than birds was quite fun!

Then I was SOooOo SHOCKED for my character to be included in @nazsy0 s AWESOME Mass-attack! Which is, like, so cool!?!??!! I wasnt expecting that in my First year of Artight at all!

This was my retaliation drawing of her characters Jamie & Alexa, who have some really cool designs and loads of lovely, angsty lore that I really liked!! I found Alexa particularly cool and compelling and JUST NEW I had to draw her with the coffee mug!

After that I was starting to run out of time and had to stop revenging and actually get stated on some of my bookmarks, I targeted 3 characters w/ little to-no art or at least no new art this yr;

Unimares sweet, large eyed Rossetta;

ghostedkid's Evil scientist duckling Anna Bufflehead ft her silly lil emo friend

And last but not least (and one of my personal favourites), protagonist-art's Daphne! :D What a cutie-patootie!

I reeeealy liked doing all of these, but I do think that I went a bit overboard drawing each character at least 3 times each 😅. I still had quite a few other bookmarks to get through. It was great for points tho! (i was Team Comedy)

But I honestly didn't rly care 'bout points; I just wanted to fully capture each characters personality in each attack and got carried away. I literally CANNOT just draw ur character just.. standing there it just doesn't sit right w/ me and gets kinda boring. So I use alot of fun refs to make sure each drawing is expressive and stuff, yet "on model", ukwim?

Anyway, thats all the attacks I made in my 1st yr of Artfight! I had a great time!

being in a wee, tightliy knit fandom was great and I rly enjoyed seeing so many lovely designs; really got me in the mood to draw silly lil cartoon ducks again so yay :)

And it's over🥺 even tho it's only my second one this has been the best artfight ever!!! I met and traded art with so many cool people, got to draw so many fun characters, had fun doing revenges and attacks, and was gifted so many gorgeous arts of my guys 🥹💖 so much fun, so happy I was part of this this year, and looking forward to next year!! Thank you again everyone who made me something this year, I treasure them all!!!💖💖💖

Ever watched Mighty Ducks the Animated Series?

I have! I used to watch it all the time as a kid. Brice's hero mask was inspired by the Mighty Ducks mask! 😄I wasn't as big of a fan as I was of Darkwing and Bonkers but I still loved watching it. It's another one of those sadly underrated shows that doesn't get the attention it deserves. Except by HardheadededWoman on Instagram. She does them justice! 👀✨💜
