This Chicago art-rock band first hit the scene in their hometown of Chicago during 1980. They would go on to tour all over the Chicago area and the surrounding midwest. After releasing their debut album Machines That Kill People in 1983 and the follow up Ennui in ‘86, ONO went silent for years before making their return in 2012 with the album Albino. With a mixture of industrial, noise, funk, gospel, electronic, & punk influences, it’s easy to be put in a trance while listening to ONO. With their shockingly theatrical live performances and mixture of genres, ONO has managed to be revived after almost 25 years after their last release.
