O Juliet: I will write about my character’s feelings for yours.
Aleksei’s feelings for Dmitriy are beyond words in his opinion and he wouldn’t be able to describe them for anything in the world. To him, Dmitriy is the beacon of light shining through the darkest of nights, what makes life worth living and what keeps him sane. It’s so easy for him to fall aboard, to lose his foothold and Dmitriy always keeps him rooted and it makes him more affectionate towards him than he can ever be towards somebody else. After three thousand years of longing, he’s finally at ease with the one man it all started with and it makes him happier than he actually realizes. He has loved Dmitriy since he was young, and no matter how many other’s he’ll ever stumble into, that love will never fade. He can’t picture a future without Dmitriy by his side anymore and he’ll do anything he can in order to keep him by his side until the day the world ends.
Blond strands of hair splayed against white sheets, eyes directed upwards to gaze at the oh so very familiar ceiling of his own bedroom. He couldn’t sleep, hadn’t been able to sleep for the past few hours but luckily, the problem was just his own. It meant he didn’t have to worry. He glanced over at Dmitriy for a moment, hues of amber decorated with small streaks of blue. He was weary, of course, and it would have been obvious to anyone looking. The other male was sound asleep, and it made the pureblood smile. He looked so peaceful like this, with his eyes closed, with his hair in disarray. Perhaps that was why Aleksei always treasured his sleepless nights, because he could revere the beauty of the one he loved.
He smiled to himself as he inched closer, careful with every motion he made because waking the other up was taboo to him. It was a mistake he wouldn’t want to commit. Not now. Thus he was gentle as he moved a few strands of hair aside from neat features, setting them behind the male’s ear. To him, Dmitriy was like oxygen. He needed him to live, to breathe, to keep his heart going after all these years apart. Like the sweetest of wines, tasteful, addictive like sleeping pills, throwing you into the depths of a perfect dream. That was what his life had become by now, as perfect as a dream and he wasn’t quite able to grasp it yet. That this was his reality. That Dmitriy was his. After so many years, after continuous longing, after so many months of heartache, he would never have believed he’d be reunited with his second half, with the love of his life. The love of a thousand lifetimes.
Another small motion, another shift to et even closer. That was when he stopped when he found comfort, when he could feel the mortal’s breath upon his own skin. When their hearts could beat in perfect sync and when he felt his radiating warmth. It was everything he needed, everything he could ever ask for. It was right there, right beside him and he basked in it, savored every second. Because he could never know, if he’d lose him again. If he’d lose the light of his life.
Coffee: My character will be hyped up on coffee and pester yours
Never had caffeine affected him like this, but of course he didn’t really reflect over it where he sat, where fingertips tapped against smooth leather. He was restless, Alisa was sleeping and he had no idea where his partner had wandered off to, not for the moment. He chewed on his lower lip and was soon up on his feet, walking around the apartment a little bit too quickly without thinking of it. He didn’t really know what he was doing, just that he needed to do something or he’d feel like he was about to explode. Every inch of his body tingled with urges to move, to do something and well, the result wasn’t exactly pretty. After about thirty minutes of rummaging around the entire apartment he does find what he’s looking for and in an instant, that cheeky little smirk is decorating his lips in the manner it always does when he’s about to cause a little tiny bit of trouble. He had found Dmitriy and it had him delighted of course. Because now he’d definitely have something to do.
The male was lying with his back facing the pureblood, reading in silence; peacefully as well and perfectly unaware of the vampire’s presence. It was a huge advantage, being able t sneak up on someone so easily and it had Aleksei chuckling, internally of course. He didn’t want to make his presence known yet. He drew his lower lip in between sharp teeth to keep quiet, eyes crinkling around the corners as the biting back of laughters made moist decorate his corneas. 1, 2, 3 he counted and then he was off, a few more steps taken before he threw himself at the other, landing on top of him, chest crashing against a well-formed back. He could hear the other groan and he finally begun to laugh, fingertips brushing along slender sides, up and down and down and up. ” Entertain me, I am bored.” He practically chanted as he shifted a bit, to rest his chin by the other’s shoulder. ” Bored bored bored bored.” He chanted by the male’s ear and not very silently. “Bored.”
Nightmare: One of our characters will have a nightmare.
Tossing and turning was what woke the vampire up that night, the sound of the bead creaking beneath a weight that wasn’t his own. It surprised him at first and it took him a few moments to realize that he hadn’t been alone the moment he went to bed. It reassured him, because he knew who it was but he was still worried because it wasn’t like the other to move around this much. He furrowed his brows, wrinkled his nose as he watched the other for another few moments, until he seemingly stopped. When calmness was resumed and time seemed to stop once again. The pureblood shook his head, a light shrug of his shoulders before he shut his eyes, ready to go back to sleep. But that’s when the whining began and hues of amber shot open in a second. He moved, quickly but carefully, inching closer as gently as he could to embrace the other form behind. He nuzzled into Dmitriy's nape, conclusion about his occurring nightmare already drawn and as hesitant as the vampire was, he still didn't feel like leaving him terrified like this.
Waking someone up had become taboo, but it was difficult not to, when the other squirmed, when he spoke words Aleksei didn't want to hear. He couldn't help it, not in the least, as he whispered the younger male's name just by his ear, kissed along the pale column of his neck to reassure. The motions stopped, the words came to a stop and everything fell into silence for a moment, aside form the gasp let out by the younger as he finally woke up. "It's alright. " Aleks mumbled, moving closer to press against the warmth of a bare back, caress over a smooth chest. "It was just a dream." He then continued, not expecting the younger to turn the way he did, soon laying face to face with the love of his life. He looked at him, amber hues carrying a gentle glow, meeting that of deep, soft brown. As beautiful as ever, mesmerizing and perfect. "I'm here. " He mumbled, a sigh passing pale lips as he tucked the younger's head in beneath his chin, keeping him safe in the only way he knew how, pleased when Dmitriy nuzzled against his neck. The scent of his hair, the way his hands felt against pallid skin, the sound of his heartbeat, it was enough to lull the elder back into the soft comfort of slumber, a silent yawn tumbling from mildly parted tires as gleaming hues fluttered shut.
Holiday: Our characters will spend a holiday together.
He had, since weeks back, prepared for this and he had done so without the slightest bit of hesitance. If anything, for all these years, as far as his recollection stretched, he had always hated Christmas. He hated it because of the jolly atmosphere and the way everyone seemed to forget every single problem. Maybe it was because he had grown bitter over the years, or maybe it was because he always celebrated alone. He didn't bother, really, bought himself a new watch or a car or whatnot, drank himself to pieces and fell asleep in his armchair in his expensively furnished living room. At least, things had used to be like that but this year was different, so very different. He had experienced so much in just a few days, cooking, decorating not only the house but their christmas tree too. Alisa had giggled constantly, high on sugar and her usual boost of energy that lit up every single day of Aleks' life. Yes, Aleks had taken Dmitriy and Alisa along with him to the house he had bought years ago, which had been left empty ever since, briefly furnished. The garden stretched far and what used to be a green lawn was not a cascade of snow, a paradise for a playful child. They had spent countless hours out there, watching the toddler make snow angels and probe around like children do. It was an adorable sight, and he basked in being able to share it with the man he loved.
Between snow, ho chocolate and laughter there were those sweet moments he treasured more than anything, a kiss shared between sweet sentences, over coffee, a stolen bite of a chosen cookie. A hug from behind while someone did the dishes. if this was what family life would be, the pureblood wouldn't say no to it, never. It was perfection, everything came together so perfectly and when it was time for presents, he had been more than happy to see his family's faces lit, more than once. He had been clear with his own lack of want for gifts, but of course he had received something as well, making him laugh and tip his head backwards. The smiles had been constant, beautiful in all their glory and he still hadn't had enough of them. Alisa had fallen asleep on the couch, to the sound of Disney playing on their Tv while Aleksei and Dmitriy had cleaned up their personal kitchen mess, playing around more than getting anything done, teasing touches and bubbling laughters, affectionate smiles and content sighs.
They had tucked her in together that night, made sure she had her new teddy bear with her in bed when she slept, knowing she'd be thrilled to have it by her side when she woke up. After setting the baby monitor up, they had s stepped into their own bedroom together, arms around each other's necks as Aleks leaned against the bedroom door. It had moved quickly from there, from innocent to teasing, from kisses and caresses to sheer love making, and the vampire had treasured every single moment, every sound and every made expression, for he had never been happier in his life. And now, when he was laying there in peace, watching the younger male sleep, gently moving slim fingers through his dark locks, he smiled. He smiled because he was happy, because he hadn't ever realized how much he wanted this.
