While I initially thought so as well, the thing about Estelle's dress is that it's huge and thus wouldn't work well with the Symphonia character models unless it was shortened. Colette's legs would be clipping through it all the time if the length was left as is.

This is, incidentally, why Presea's Elize costume is so short in comparison to Elize's canonical outfit. And imo the end result looked really bad; like some poor quality cosplay you might find somebody trying to sell online through ebay or something. So idk how Estelle would have looked on Colette had it been shortened, but keeping the mishap with Presea in mind I'm actually kinda glad it didn't happen.

(Forever shaking my head at Bamco for not giving Presea Elize's ToX2 costume instead of her ToX1 costume; like if you did that not only would you NOT have had the problem of being forced to shorten her dress, but you could also safely leave Presea's pigtails intact (with the addition of Elize's ribbons perhaps) WITHOUT it looking lazy as fuck. God. I'm still mad about Presea's cameo costume and still think it's an absolute mess I'm so sorry)

On that note, I'm still really hoping that Mikulio will end up being a healer!

He sounds like we'll probably be getting him early on in the game (since he lives with Slay in his village), he uses a staff, and water's an element that's often associated with healing. All good candidates for being a healer.

Unless they turn on us and make Alicia the early-game healer ala Tear. Which would really suck imo (pls do not stereotype female sidekicks as healers please and thank you).

Some people have pointed out that they're specifically announcing out his element, weapon, and nothing else, thinking that it'd be strange to not point out that he heals too. But if you think about it, Tales characters are typically referred to in the order that they join your party in. Considering that we have four different characters announced by now and none of them have explicitly been stated to be healers, and there's always at least one healer present early in the game since that makes gameplay more manageable (and less expensive due to less mandated gel usage), my guess is that we've already had at least one healer announced by now and they're just not telling us who it is.

That, and the fact that we never really have any "pure" healers in Tales games anymore, since every character is playable and most people prefer to be able to fight as well as heal.

Either way I should probably knock on wood for this, but I do have high hopes for Mikulio healing not only because of everything that I just said, but also because Hisui was the main healer in Tales of Hearts, so they've already proven themselves to not be adverse to this sort of thing.

Which does definitely suggest a lack of enthusiasm in her demeanor, but also proves that she's not going to be a complete adherent to the archetype - she likes to fuck with people, meaning that 1. she has her own emotions (amusement) that she goes out of her way to fulfill, and 2. she has some understanding of how emotions work (a prerequisite to correctly toy with others))!

She also describes humans as being "too emotional" in her little quote, adding more evidence to observation #2 above, so my guess is that she's less a Rei Ayanami and more just a very aloof girl. At the very least she doesn't sound nearly as naive as a lot of "emotionless girls" are

Since she already expresses some ire for humans though, and ended her sentence there with a grumpy "what a bother", it seems she does have at least one emotion in the form of irateness.

I'm not expecting someone too lively, but at the same time she doesn't sound completely devoid of expression either. A kuudere at the closest to this trope, maybe, but she does sound like a grump. A calmer version of Rita, perhaps? Given that she also lives alone and shares that same "pretty young looking but not quite twelve years old" physique?

Ye, Nah's really cute. I married Nowi off to resident shota Ricken, so it wasn't quite as bad in my case; their supports were really cute too so hey I got something else out of it as well

They just... seemed way too young to be having kids at the same time as everybody else. Too young mentally in Nowi's case, but still. It was just... eugh to think about.

you can actually recruit glen buuut you have to clear the game first and complete a certain amount of the lagdou ruins. i mean its not the same as in campaign but you can get him?? (he’s actually good too)
