As for editing, i don't do much but here my editing process :
1 - i take my screenshot using SRWE software (3000x3000 settings), for a better quality (with reshade, i use dove reshade by kindlespice edited to my liking)
2 - i open my photo on photoshop
3 - the first thing i do when in photoshop is to crop the photo with a 4:5 ratio
4 - after that, i just run it through topaz clean and smart sharpen (if there's nothing to edit like redraw over clipping)
5 - then i resize my photo with the same ratio = Image > Image Size
why resize ? i'm mainly posting on instagram and instagram is very needy if you want to keep the quality. If you use instagram, read the following, it might help you with quality (disclaimer : i'm not saying it's the right way to keep your quality or anything, it works for me so i thought i'd share this)
Instagram photo format must be either 1080x1080px (square) or 1080x1350px (rectangle, which i use) and its file size must not be over 1MB. So in order for the file to be less than 1MB, i need to size the image down so the file size can be reduced. Here, i put the 1080x1350px as the resize setting
6 - and finally, i export the photo and "save for web"
what you need to be careful about are : the file format (instagram uses JPEG), the file size and the image size
Here, under "JPEG" we can see "Very High". You can change this depending on your image size.
For example, lets say you've done all the steps and arrived to this step, you export etc. and instead of very high you set it to maximum and you see that your image is over than 1MB, in this case, you have to change it to very high instead. The image will basically stay the same (you won't really see a quality change but your file size will decrease and that's perfect)
Keep in mind that the Image Size needs to be the same ratio as your cropping (if you crop you photo in 1:1 ration the image size must be 1080x1080, for example), if not, your photo will be stretched)
7 - click save and you're done
Basically, i don't "edit" if by edit you mean drawing or anything else, i don't have that capacity lol but at least, i can somehow keep the quality
