would you ever be willing to give a tutorial or say what program you make your gifsets in? they look amazing!
I'm using photoshop 2020 that I got from this tutorial by @iniziare.
I made a screencapping tutorial a couple of years ago. Since I still use kmplayer, my process is still the same. I've heard that kmplayer is super sketchy nowadays, so I know ppl like to use mpv player. I use that one from time to time, but it takes so much longer, so I just keep using my super old (hopefully not so sketchy) version of kmplayer.
That tutorial also tells you how to use sharpening actions. However, the action I included in the tutorial works best for photoshop cs5, plus the link is no longer active. I created a pack of sharpening actions for the more recent versions of photoshop. You can access that here. For 268px gifsets, I usually use the 3rd one. For 540px gifsets, I usually use the 5th.
I made a couple of coloring tutorials a few years ago, they're not exactly the same process I use today, but the results are pretty similar. Here and here. I also have another tutorial on how to color dark scenes that uses pretty much the same process that I use to color all of my gifs now, but there's a few extra adjustments for brightening purposes. If you'd like an updated, regular (i.e not for dark scenes) coloring tutorial let me know!
And finally this tutorial by @redbelles is one of the most extensive tutorials on gifmaking I've ever seen. It goes over everything, from programs to t*rrenting to screencapping to coloring to saving your gif. It's so helpful!

A bit of a sillier question but Astaroth, do you know your zodiac sign?
You chuckle.
"Of course, it's just hatchdates. I'm a taurus."
