"Fellow Quarians! What can I do for you? What brings you so far from the Flotilla?"
I'm shocked you are not wearing bunny ears today. You have pretty much dresses for every other holiday.
I didn’t even knew it was that Easter thing.. Christmas, Valentine day and Halloween are the only one I do things for.. AND WHAT THE HECK DRESSES I think you mean costumes???
" It is okay to not know, half of my life is me doing things I don't know. I could never be angry at you, let alone anyone. And so you don't mind the kisses? I'm glad." She said with a soft smile. "Just take your time."
He scratched the back of his head nervously and gave a small smile. “Thank you…For Understanding. I’m sorry to bother you about…Er, me,” he confessed. She had to feel some sort of annoyance because of him, right? That’s all he was good for.
There was something that peeked his interested and he couldn’t stop himself from blurting out, “Should I feel different? When-When you kiss me?” He was truly at a loss whenever she kisses him. Should he do something different or would he figure out why it didn’t bother him? Once again the savant could not form a proper answer.
"David, David. It is alright. I'm only saying it because I can't really tell if you like it or not. I personally enjoy kissing you, your reactions are cute." She said gently placing her hand on his shoulder. "Just take a few deep breaths and calm down. Don't over think, just follow what your heart wants. Work on impulse."
He nodded his head and did has Atili advised him to. Breathing were one of the few things that calmed him down. His therapist recommended it to him, as well as Gavin, and including his parents. He liked to count while he’s breathing too. He count the intakes of breaths as well as how often. Counting would make things better for him, but this was something that he couldn’t rely on numbers.
After a minutes passed by, he regained his nerves. He looked away in embarrassment and distracted himself with gazing at her hand upon his shoulder. He was fascinated with her hands. Not like the five digits one he’s accustomed to. They were warm; despite the suit covering it. He shook his head in order to bring him out of his distraction.
He fumbled with his words at the beginning; this was probably one of the most nerve-wrecking moments in his life. He didn’t want to act on impulse. Impulse was what got him to trouble many times in his life. Logic, numbers, calculating; they were far more easily to work with.
“I just…don’t know,” he confessed, wringing his hands together, “I’m not…bothered. Just, no used to. I don’t want to…make you angry. So…” he couldn’t finish his sentence and blinked rapidly.
Watching him look down at the ground she frowned slight and placed her visor back on. "David, if you want me to stop kissing you. All you have to do is say so and I will."
He started to blink rapidly and began to panic. He made her mad, he just knew it. He always messed up. “I-I-It’s not…I don’t…Y-You,” his words tumbled out in a tidal wave. He didn’t even know how to respond to her. He stole a glance and began to tap his left wrist with his free hand. He hunched his shoulders tightly and tried to explain himself in a clearer manner.
”I…You’re not,” he babbled out and took a deep breath, “I…Don’t know…I don’t know…What I…I don’t know.” He truly could not give her a straight answer. He was petrified from making a choice and was never good at expressing his wants and needs.
"You know David, there has been something I haven't done in forever." She said with a wide grin before taking her visor off and kissing the boy right on the lips. ((It has been forever. David needs more kisses))
Whenever he knew it was coming or not, he did not ask Atili because he soon saw the familiar face of his friend and felt the also familiar sensation of her lips pressed against his own. He recalled his face warming up; as he always did whenever the bold Quarian made her move. In the back of his mind he absentmindedly agreed that it had been some time since she…Well, did that. Whenever he missed it or not was a question he couldn’t answer at the moment.
David pulled back slowly as he lowered his gaze to the ground. He still couldn’t look at her when she kissed him. His thoughts would jumble together and he was afraid that if he ever utter a word he would find himself speechless. “H-Hello Atili,” he greeted softly.
