marena's canon event being her mom dying in her arms after not being able to save her due to aquaspider / marena's dimension's vilian wounding her ( a.k.a el catrin ). even with marena's water powers or heaing water ( besides her spider powers ), that wasn't enough to stop her from bleeding bc natalia had lost lots of blood before marena could get to her. during this, marena felt so horrible & felt so guilty after not being able to save her mother, the one person who really believed in her and the person who gave her life. even if it wasn't marena's fault bc she didn't kill her, she feels terrible and the fact that she can't even look at alberto, her twin brother, even when he doesn't hate her or blame her for their mom not being in their world anymore. after all of this marena was not only grieving, but she was so rageful with herself and finds it hard to move on from the fact that her mom died and that she failed to save her 💔

one thing that i didn't mention abt marena is that when she's had enough and can't have any peace at home ( usually ), or she doesn't feel like being at home due to excessive yelling and such, she'll leave and not come back for a few days and it's not on purpose but bc she really does not have the energy to argue or put up with her dad's shit and would rather not see his face.

do you have an image of marena / aquaspider & could you tell me about her powers ?

I like to use disney's moana as a reference to marena's looks / appearance! and as for her spider suit, I like to use this image that I found on pinterest! ( only that marena / aqua-spider would not have a jacket with her suit & she'd have regular boots or even high top vans! + all credits go to the creator as the art is not mine ) as for marena's powers, she has regular spider powers just like any other spiderman variant, but she also has hydrokinesis, meaning she can control water, and walk through water if she wishes to, and also healing water in which she can heal others' injuries except that she cannot use it to heal herself.

marena being passionate and doing what she wants without thinking about what others are gonna say or think about her, and doing what feels right for her ( or doing the right thing in general ) is everything to me <3
