it's now canon to this blog that aquaticmizu has met demon Jess, and appears to have befriended her as the demonic dragon shows no violence towards her as she was allowed  to give the monstrous creature a bellyrub. she finds a way to show the dragon how to eat a school of fish when she notices Jess' torn finned tail makes her swimming a bit difficult. however, Jess only acts less hostile around her. she remains ill tempered when around strangers.

More about Mizu

whatever it was that changed her into her new body, also did a number on her mind. besides already knowing how to breathe under water and swim in her new body she knows how to speak and understand all the creatures of the sea.

Unfortunitly that came at a price, for her what we call normal language is now a foreign one to her. She can understand it for the most part but it's not her normal language and she has a hard time with words sometimes. To her she is speaking normally but to others here is a list of things she says and what they mean.

Mizu: She uses this when talking about herself. Instead of I, me, ect she refers to herself by her name.

Land Walker: General term for ponies and other non aquatic species but most used for ponies and sometimes specifically earth ponies but mostly this is what she calls all typed of ponies. But she has terms for the other types as well if needed.

Cloud Walker: A pegasus pony

Horned Land Walker: Unicorn

???: Alicorn (I have no idea on this one yet, i'm making this all up as I go)

Other me \ Not me: She uses this when referring to other draconequus. To her they are the same like her but different. I don't think she would be able to say draconequus anyway.

Fire Lizard: A dragon, well the fire breatheing type. replace fire for other types and you get the new names

That's all I can think of for now, if I get more I will add them.

The Journy

Over the next several moons they pod and Mizu set off on the long journey to find land. Along the way the pod is surprised to see just how adept and well she is able to swim, especially with the long body. The way she glides through the water would look almost like what you see an eastern or Asian dragon as they fly though the sky. Her small wings are used only for minor connections as she swims. She is even able to keep up with the pod going at full speed and then some.

Although she was able to hunt for food on her own, the pod teaches her better way s to gather food and more about what creatures live under the water. She is loving all of this. Learning all about the creatures of the ocean and everything else under water. She is a fast learner and the dolphins are quite impresses with her ability to pick up on even the smallest of details.

"For one who has been a creature of the water only a short time, you have great skills. you have learned everything with ease as if you where meant to do this. Perhaps whatever might have happened to you was for the best. You seem to be at home under the water." Mizu swims around happily "Thank you, learning all this and being here with all of you seems to be more of a dream than anything. It is so nice to be with all of you and not be alone. You have taught me so manny things and I keep wanting to learn more. I hope the land walkers can teach me things as well." the head dolphin nods "Well, we still have a ways to go before we get there. If you keep this up, you will have learned everything there is we know about the sea and what it holds. I am sure there is much more that we have not seen but you are smart enough to be able to survive on your own, better than before"

The pod and Mizu continue on for several more moons, through storms and calm skys. Finally they reach the coast. they come upon a seemingly deserted beach.

The journy to land

The dolphin comes back and Mizu surfaces once more to hear what the final decision is. She expects to be turned away because she is so odd looking. The dolphin swims up and tells her they would be happy to help her.

Mizu smiles happily and is quite exited "Thank you, I will do my best not to bother the pod. I am not even sure what it is I seek from the land walkers but maybe I can find some answers." the rest of the pod gathers around her "Nonsense, you will not be a bother to us. the pod and even I am curious to see how this will go. We can not go on land, but if you can go on land as well ad live in the water perhaps you can get the land walkers to treat the waters better. Though we have never seen an actual land walker we have heard tales of them and seen some of the things they do"

Mizu nods still smiling as she listens to the head dolphin "Well, I am not sure what I can do but if I can do anything I will do my best to help. though the first thing I want to do is find out more about me or who I used to be. I will take what opportunities I can to help other creatures of the water. After all, I seem to be one of them now so it is in my interest as well."

the head dolphin is pleased to hear this "Very well, let us head to the land. It will be several moons before we reach it. Are you prepared for the journey?" Mizu smiles happily "Oh yes, I am very ready and quite excited to finally have something to do and plenty of company. Shall we head there now?"

the dolphin nods and gives the command to head out and soon the pod of dolphins sets off with Mizu on the trip toi find land.

not quite right

Mizu looks puzzled at a comment by the dolphin and looks at her otter paw and salamander paw then at her shark tail and duck foot and crocodile foot "Am I really that unusual? I have not been able to see what I look like funny but I thought this was a normal look for undersea creatures."

The dolphin laughs "no my dear, apparently whatever changed you affected your memory more than you know. I would say you are made up of about 8 or 9 different creatures. Those wings of yours certainly don;t look like they would be big enough to help you fly either."

Mizu thinks about this and looks over her otter and salamander hand again "I am not sure, I never even thought I was so different. when I woke up I already knew how to swim and catch fish and more. It's been lonely here as well, you are the first creatures I have seen. Would it be alright If I followed you all? I would like to get to land to see if I can find out more about what happened to me and who I was."

The dolphin thinks about this "Let me ask my pod, I do not see the harm in you accompany us but I will have to make sure the rest feel the same." Mize nods and slips back under the water just below the surface to wait for the decision. Several minuets go by and the leader comes back as Mizu resurfaces.
