Though it was getting late, Ricken had felt the need to go on a walk. Though he vaguely recalled a warning from someone within the apartment complex not to stray too far during the evening, he couldn't help but at least walk about the building. Sitting in the apartment without a book to read or a spell to practice had made the Mage restless, and so he had taken his leave from the "safety" of his room. 

One gloved hand opened the door, and another covered his mouth as he tried to stifle a yawn. The bed here, though a bit shabby, was nicer than the cot he had grown accustomed to during the wars against Plegia and Valm, yet it seemed that a full night's rest of sleep would escape him once more. 

The thought of the wars brought back memories of Ylisse and of his bedroom back at home, and it wasn't long before he walked while wrapped up within his own thoughts.

Of course, leave it to a dazed, somewhat tired boy to walk into a young woman who radiated power. 

"Oof-- oh geez... Sorry about that!"
