Why is it that some people think breaking animals out of agricultural situations should be considered a higher criminal act than exploiting and killing that same animal?
Look, if you’re an animal rights activist that sides with welfarist ideals because you don’t agreed with what some big ‘AR’ organisations do to pets I have some news for you.
AR organisations such as PETA may have shitty ideals and take terrible actions to compliment those ideals (and thus affect thousands of lives), but how is it better to forget about and support what welfarists do to billions of cows, chickens, pigs, and others considered ‘livestock’ instead of helping to address and rectify what and who is wrong in the AR movement, when the majority of fellow AR activists agree with you on the topic of wayward and harmful organisations and people?
You are not helping anyone except welfarists by siding with their ideals which contribute to billions of animals suffering, simply because you’re upset that one bad political organisation that literally nearly everyone disagrees with causes the termination of a few thousand.
