Help me gunblr
I'm building my first AR pistol using the SB PDW brace and know nothing. I can't decide on a 10.5 or 12.5 inch barrel? What kinda buffer do I need, H1-H3? I know the basic regs about length and VFGs and stuff but what other stuff did you wish you knew when starting out? What about reliability stuff since this will be my go to truck gun and general purpose HD/SHTF gun until I can SBR it eventually. I'm starting with 5.56 but eventually will get a .300blk upper.

VLTOR A5 system help
Anybody got experience with the VLTOR A5 buffer system. I know what's it made of bit wondering if anyone uses it? I want to piece one together. What weight buffer should I get. I'm going with a Springco "green" rifle action spring and it's going on a BCM 16" mid length. Minus the bolt catch, after panicking about missing parts, a few flying springs/detents and other shenanigans. Got my A2 lower built. First lower I’ve built completelyby myself.
Waiting to pull the trigger on a 20" upper then to switch out the pistol grip for something more comfortable and then a better trigger like a ALG ACT or a BCM PNT. Eventually adding a BAD-ASS ambi safety, Troy ambi magazine release, Springco green enhanced action spring, and KNS anti-rotation pins.
For the upper when it gets here probably by September, all I’m going to add for now is a muzzle brake and a BFG sling with fixed buttstock mount using my already owned BFG wire sling loop for the front end. @justasshall
