✨ANDROMEDA ROGUE D&D AU✨

the galaxy is saved. the crew of the AES Andromeda and the friends they’ve made along the way can finally rest. so what’s the natural thing to do next? play a good old fashioned game of Dungeons & Dragons, of course!

i’ve spent the last 5 days obsessively working on this, help

behold, at long last! by moderately popular demand, the post-series AU where the gang does a d&d campaign. these are the characters they would play in such a campaign (so basically, my OCs’ OCs lmao). i made a post about it here but i have changed some stuff since, more on that (and other random stuff) below.

so in the original post i said Elix was the DM, but i changed my mind because i really wanted to make him a character. now the DM is the ship’s AI, SOFI.

(speaking of AI, this is the future so they probably have all sorts of cool virtual reality tech they can play with and i am frothing at the mouth just thinking about it.)

Petra and Val are playing siblings so they had to agree on a race and last name. stumped for ideas, Petra suggested they just use their actual last name, Lacroye, but backwards. Val’s reaction? “that’s absolutely stupid. let’s do it”

Ansel introduces his character: “this is Percival Montgomery Trenowyth the Third--” and Azami immediately interrupts with, “you mean, ‘the Turd?” (needless to say, these siblings still don’t get along post-series. they’re working on it.)

(they’ve all, besides Azami, agreed to try to be civil with Ansel, but Finneas can’t help but absolutely lose it when this happens.)

Elix affectionately refers to his character as “Noodle-Arm Noah” because of his rather sad strength stat. it’s fine. he has other talents.

Petra’s favoured enemy is evil sentient plants bc ofc it is.

i know i said Finn’s character, Delwyn, is a massive flirt, but i feel like Azami’s character Rosi would try to out-flirt him if the target’s a cute girl, keeping the Finn-Azami rivalry going, even in the game.

however they always both end up losing to Val, who doesn’t try to flirt but wins people over just by genuinely befriending them.

Azami’s character somehow ended up with 4 daggers.

Nena’s character is really hot. that’s all.

the bad news: i've finally made myself standardize the calculations for interplanetary travel time, which means the timeline of the story's events has been royally fucked up and fixing it is gonna be so tedious

the good news: with my new calculations, the gang's first trip now lasts 69 hours

yes Finneas and Petra love each other very much romantically. but i truly believe if they were ever to get married it would be purely for the financial and legal benefits
