yeah, the venue is in a great place in the middle of a load of canals with some pubs around, but i reckon they’ll go a bit further out. im meeting a friend in a pub before the gig, so fingers crossed i see them! would be cool

exactly, i understand that they're both a lot more maturer than they were when they made the last album and im really excited to hear that transfer into their new material, but i feel like they might try a little bit too hard to try and emphasise that they've "grown up" so to speak and so have various sexually-driven clips, which is a bit of a broken record now imo
i agree, i’m excited to hear how their sound has matured, but they can show they’ve grown up without forcing all kinds of sexy content into the music videos. i mean there’s nothing wrong with sexually-driven clips if they’re done in the right way, but they just seem unnecessary and usually uncomfortable to me. and yeah, it is becoming a broken record. but i guess we don’t know if that’s the direction they’re going in yet, maybe these little one second clips in the teasers aren’t a part of anything else
i agree about the thing about the ass groping being uncomfortable...i feel like more or less every AM era music video was always based around/involved pointless shit like that i was hoping that tlsp was gonna have more of the "story telling" vibe that age of the understatement had :/ im not against it but i kinda feel like (especially by alex) its been done to death and i just find it kinda boring now
same. i think because of the orchestra and overall vibe, tlsp’s music really lends itself to cool story telling videos and i just really hope they’ll take advantage of that. they don’t need all the sexual shit like AM era videos have and i'd rather not watch alex grope his girlfriend in the first place tbh
