Work never ceases to follow. Even though I took my kids to play at the indoor playground at the mall because of the haze that is currently hitting Malaysia. It's not healthy to be playing outside with all that pollution. You can literally see the sun because of all the haze blocking the light better than sunglasses. All you see is a red circle. 😅 I needed to finish some work but this is the only time I got. I haven't been online the past couple days due a horrible cough that I'm still fighting. It's been going around the family and I guess it was just my turn to get it. Anyways, I'm very happy to get the assignments from my students because of 2 main reasons. 1) to see their improvements over time in the scripts they chose to take and 2) to see their emails in my inbox, I feel so happy that they are willing to continue their learning Arabic calligraphy. May Allah make it easy for me to teach my students, and make it easy for my students to learn. To my students, keep going! You're doing great . Teaching is never easy. A teacher must pin point what is the cause of the mistakes the student makes. With experience, it gets easier. But then, every student is different and comes with a different perspective on how to do things. I think teachers in general are underappreciated. With all the work they need to do, not just to teach the curriculum but to also have the patience and understanding how to present the information to the students. I'm glad to have students who are patient and diligent in their learning of Arabic calligraphy.
